🤖 What Is Averix Hacks?

 

Averix AI Hackathon 2025 is a virtual event designed to spark creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. It’s hosted by Averix AI, a global student-led organization that empowers young innovators to use artificial intelligence for good. The hackathon runs over the weekend of February 7th, 2026. You’ll create an AI-powered project designed to make a real impact. It may simplify daily life, improve accessibility, or tackle an important challenge. 

Open to middle-school and high-school students ages 13–18. Participants may work solo or in teams of up to 4 members. 

EVERY PARTICIPANT MUST FILL OUT THE AVERIX HACKS REGISTRATION FORMAtfer registering, look for a Google Classroom invitation link. There, you will be provided with more information and a zoom meeting link.

Throughout the weekend, participants will have access to:

  • Live workshops

  • Mentor support

  • Conversations with industry leaders at the forefront of AI

Requirements

EVERY PARTICIPANT (ALL STUDENTS IN A GROUP) MUST FILL OUT THE AVERIX HACKS REGISTRATION FORM.

Only one person from each team should submit the project on Devpost. The submitter must add all teammates to the Devpost submission page. You must provide a link to a public GitHub repository created during the hackathon dates. The repository must include:

  1. README file with:

  • A short project explanation (2–3 sentences)

  • Names and schools/organizations of all team members

  • The date and project name

 2.  Project files

  • Include all source code, assets, or design files
  • If it’s a design-only project, include links to Figma, Canva, or Google Slides
  • Clearly label any datasets or third-party tools used

 

3.  Upload a slide deck (up to 10 slides) to your repository. It should include:

  • Project name and team members
  • Problem statement and inspiration

  • Explanation of your AI model or approach

  • Key features or demo screenshots

  • Future improvements or impact goals

 

4. Submit a 1–3 minute video that includes:

  • A walkthrough of your slide presentation
  • A demonstration of your project’s main features

  • An explanation of how your project works

  • A live or recorded showcase of the project in action

  • Screen recording of the code

The video can be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or any public platform.uTube, Vimeo, or any      public platform.
