1. Local Elections:  Also called the May Joint & Special Election
No party labels. Vote for local leaders in your city like mayor, city council, school board, and local bonds.
Early Voting: April 20 – April 28
Election Day: Saturday, May 2

2. Primary Runoff:
A primary runoff decides a party’s candidate when no one got a majority in the March primary.
Voters choose between the top two candidates from the March primary.
Early Voting: May 18 – May 22
Election Day: Tuesday, May 26

Runoff Voting Rules (Important)
If you voted in the Democratic Primary, you can only vote in the Democratic runoff.
If you did not vote in March, you can still vote in the runoff.
Runoff elections determine who moves on to the November ballot.
Runoffs often come down to very small margins — every vote matters.
