Practicing with charcoal
Since I’ve been trying new things, I decided to try different shapes. I did this one with the help of a faber castell tortillian, using mars lumograph pencils.
Montains in the sky
For this one, I was inspired by the beach I went day 5, the fireplace of my house, and some mountains I was thinking about. There’s some kind of cascade coming from the sky, some clouds, some elements on the mountains, plants, and a magical portal to another place. A rainbow comes from the portal to the cascade.
Shades
This one has no special meaning. It’s just random shapes and shadings, but I am really happy with it. My teacher said it was very interesting. I’m proud of myself.
Bubble
I’m on artblock and this one was actually supposed to look like just a shady background and a big white semicircle. But the thing is, I can’t do anything that simple, so I drew something like a tree in the right, and I decided to fill everything.
This doesn’t have any meaning or story like the other drawings I posted. I just added some random elements and it ended well.
So I guess this is a reflection in a bubble, floating in the sky.
Next week I will post another! (Hopefully, a better one)
Human nature
I specially like how this one ended because we can see what it is about, and its not full of details.
We can see some kind of human figure, it starts with the head, full of light and dark.
About the arms, on the left, we see a wing (freedom) has the left arm, and the right arm ends in a spider web (death).
The legs are a mountain, and middle body is a leaf, (if we look closely, we see a caterpillar eating it, which make its metamorphosis in the right) (Also, remember about the spider web above)
In the bottom, there is a child (this is Meyi, a character I used in about 3 drawings) (Can you find her?) looking at the landscape, touching a tree (where the caterpillar is) which ends in the right arm, like she’s thinking in her destiny. I call this drawing, human nature.
Other elements: Fire in the mountain / clouds, lighting / waning crescent dark moon /

You are in a dark cave. You are scared. This is probably a dream. The ground is watching you. There is a small pond in front of you, but how much deep is it? It makes little waves. You see a well next to the pond, why? The ice ceiling looks like it can fall at any moment. Water drips from them to small pots, and a flying umbrella mysteriously stays still.
A plant grows from a stone, and ends in the ceiling, trying to leave. You want to run too. But how? You see a window, climb the tree to reach it, but you fall into the pond. For some reason, you can’t swim on that water. Was that water?
You drown. You wake up. What was the meaning of that dream? I don’t know. I call this “Mysterious cave”
