MacHacks is a weekend-long event providing 36 hours for teams to create an innovative project using AI for a problem in Healthcare, Environment, or Business.

Requirements
Submission Guidelines
- Each team has to create a 5-minute video about their chosen challenge explaining their innovation and the submission deadline is due 10.00 AM EST on February 5. Your project cannot be submitted to other hackathons.
- There will be no live presentations and your video submitted will be counted as your final submission.
- The video should be filmed in proper lighting and with clear audio making it easier for the judges to understand the video. The code must be submitted on Github.
- Please explain your project in a clear and concise manner.
Challenges:
Healthcare AI:
AI in the healthcare industry is rapidly growing. Use AI to solve any healthcare issue such as patient waiting room optimization or anything else.
Environmental AI hack:
As our world leaders begin to address the rapid deterioration of our climate and environment, AI will be used more to help address these issues. Use AI to solve any environmental problem.
Business Solution:
From Wall Street to small businesses AI can be used to make money anywhere. Use AI to solve a problem in the business world.
Google DSC Challenge:
McMaster’s google DSC hosts information sessions, hands-on workshops, and student-community collaborative projects centred around the latest and greatest in technology, all with the support of Google and Google Developers. DSC’s challenge includes designing an AI solution that aids in addressing one of the United Nation's sustainable goals, using Google’s offered products like TensorFlow, Firebase, and Flutter.
