Joining the league of high-scoring JAMB candidates is relatively simple. All you have to do is:

1. Start preparing early. It is never too early to start preparing for JAMB exams, so it is recommended that you start preparing early. The earlier you start, the more time you will have to build up your knowledge base.

2. Get familiar with the syllabus. Ensure you understand the syllabus for each subject you plan to take in the JAMB exams. i.e., your subject combination.

3. Familiarise yourself with the type of questions to expect. JAMB questions are usually tricky, so you must be familiar with the type of questions you will be asked during the exams.

4. Practice and get to know your weak spots. Use past questions Apps like Class54 to help you identify the types of questions or topics you struggle with and how to improve them.

5. Find a study partner. Find a reliable and motivated study partner to help keep you on track with your preparations. For example, Class54 has a dedicated study WhatsApp group with tutors and other JAMBites to help you stay motivated and prepared.

6. Revise the topics you find more challenging. Ensure you spend enough time reviewing the topics you are struggling with to increase your chances of doing well in the exam.

Since the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has made the annual UTME examinations fully Computer-based, the best thing a prospective UTME Candidate can do is to prepare adequately for the exams using the right resources and tools. One of the most critical resources and tools is the CBT Preparatory software. There’s a lot out there, but a few stand out for 2023 UTME.

The advantage of getting and using this software is enormous; everyone preparing to sit for JAMB in 2023 or beyond must have one! Below are the reasons why:

Familiarity with CBT

Because it is a relatively new way of conducting examinations, your familiarity with computers has little or no effect. Knowing how to operate a computer does not mean you can use every type of software easily (unless you are Einstein, lol), hence the need to practice.
