That also means a new chapter for how we generate and share revenue with our community. We want to be fully transparent about how this works, what’s different from EVM, and what it means for you.</p><h3>Why Solana?</h3><p>Solana has become one of the most active chains for new token launches, offering high throughput, low fees, and a large, engaged trading community. Expanding to SOL is a strategic move that opens up a significantly larger addressable audience for our launch pipeline.</p><p>We’re not abandoning EVM. Not at all. We’ll continue to launch on EVM chains and adapt our model to whatever serves our projects and community best.</p><h3>The Fee Structure — How SOL Compares to EVM</h3><p>If you’ve been around for our EVM launches, you’ll know we’re no strangers to a high opening tax. On EVM we run a 5/5 tax as standard, with PROOF taking 2% in the first 24 hours and 1% for the following 2 months.</p><p>On Solana, the mechanism is different. Rather than a contract-level tax, SOL launches use an <strong>LP fee</strong>. This is a fee taken at the pool level on every swap. The effect is similar, but it’s the native Solana way of doing things and is what the ecosystem expects.</p><pre>Parameter                  Value<br>─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────<br>Launch LP Fee              20% (buy &amp; sell) — first 30 minutes<br>Post-Launch LP Fee         1.25% (buy &amp; sell) — sustained rate</pre><p>The 20% opening window will be familiar in spirit to our high starting taxes on EVM. It’s the same principle of capturing revenue at peak volume, just adapted for how Solana launches work. After 30 minutes it drops to 1.25%, which is where it stays.</p><p>The key difference from EVM is the sustained rate — 1.25% on SOL versus 5% on EVM. Solana traders simply won’t tolerate a sustained 5% fee, and forcing it would suppress the volume that makes SOL launches worthwhile. We believe the higher raw volume on Solana will more than compensate, but we’ll be tracking this carefully and will be transparent about how it plays out across launches.</p><h3>Revenue Share — How It Works</h3><p>During the first 2 months of each SOL launch, the LP fee is split <strong>25% to PROOF and 75% to the project</strong>. After the 2-month mark, the LP fee remains at 1.25% but flows entirely to the project. PROOF’s share drops to zero.</p><p>LP fees are collected in SOL and bridged to ETH by PROOF. This means stakers will continue to receive their revenue share in ETH, just as they do with EVM launches.</p><p>From PROOF’s 25% share of LP fee revenue, the breakdown is as follows:</p><pre>Allocation                 Share<br>─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────<br>PROOF Operations           50%<br>$PROOF Stakers             25%<br>$PROOF Buybacks            25%</pre><p>This is the same rev share structure you’ll recognise from our EVM launches. <strong>Staking $PROOF and holding through SOL launches is one of the most direct ways to benefit from PROOF’s expanding launch pipeline.</strong></p><h3>Multi-Chain = More Opportunity</h3><p>One thing we want to be clear about: SOL launches are an expansion, not a pivot. We will continue to run EVM launches alongside our Solana activity. The goal is a diversified, high-output launch pipeline that generates revenue across multiple ecosystems.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At PROOF, our mission has always been simple: to make crypto launches safer for everyone who participates.</p><p>Up until now, PROOF launches have been hard rug-proof. Meaning, liquidity is locked for 12 months, teams can’t stop sells or mint more supply. Founders are also KYC’d, and PROOF’s smart contracts are audited. This has brought a level of trust and safety that is unheard of in the wild west of web3 investing.</p><p>Now, we’re taking trust and safety to a whole new level.</p><h3>🚨 The Problem: Trust Is Earned, Not Assumed</h3><p>In the world of crypto launches, investors are constantly exposed to one of the biggest risks in the space: <strong>team-controlled supply dumps or rug pulls.</strong></p><p>Therefore, investors are on high-alert. And, for good reason. Trust needs to be earned over time, and the same goes for PROOF launches too. Even though we have a solid vetting and incubation process, things do and have gone wrong — surprise relaunches ($PRIVIX, $KIWI), internal team conflicts leading to fraudulent behavior ($XEON), and even accidents like the phishing scam that gained control of the team’s tokens ($QS).</p><p>Even great teams can sometimes mismanage treasury tokens, creating unnecessary sell pressure. And in a market driven by momentum and trust, even the <em>perception</em> of risk can kill a launch before it truly begins.</p><p>We decided that wasn’t good enough.</p><h3>🧠 The Solution: Structured Safety</h3><p>Starting with all upcoming PROOF launches, we’re introducing a <strong>three-tier safety structure</strong> for the <strong>35% team allocation</strong> of total supply.</p><h4>1️⃣ 25% Locked for 6 Months, Then Vested for 12 Months</h4><p>A major portion of the team’s allocation will be <strong>completely locked for the first six months</strong>, followed by a <strong>linear 12-month vest.</strong></p><blockquote><em>✅ </em>This ensures teams are committed long term and that early investors can trade with confidence knowing no one can suddenly sell into the chart, or be surprised by a relaunch.</blockquote><h4>2️⃣ 8% Protected in a Group Gnosis Safe</h4><p>An additional <strong>8% of supply</strong> will be stored in a <strong>multi-sig Gnosis wallet</strong> that requires <strong>PROOF sign-off</strong> for any movement of tokens.</p><blockquote><em>🔐 </em>This guarantees that no supply can be accessed, transferred, or sold without dual approval.</blockquote><p>This safety net protects investors during the critical early months when trust is being built and price discovery is underway.</p><p>After six months, control of this multi-sig will be fully handed over to the team, at which point they should have proven stability and alignment with their community.</p><h4>3️⃣ 2% Team Float (Operational Flexibility)</h4><p>Finally, <strong>2% of supply</strong> will remain as a <strong>team float</strong>, enabling them to act quickly on immediate opportunities such as marketing pushes, influencer partnerships, etc.</p><blockquote><em>⚙️ </em>If the float needs replenishing, teams simply notify PROOF.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As I sit down to write this, I’ve just returned from a solo, 2-night strategic planning retreat. So, I am full of energy and excitement for what lies ahead for PROOF!</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/941/1*9At8FIVoiNxOV8h8610KSg.jpeg" /><figcaption>Hard to not be inspired with a view like this! 🤯</figcaption></figure><p>It’s been a long time since I’ve written an extended Medium update to keep you in the loop of everything happening behind the scenes with PROOF. If you’re part of the <a href="https://t.me/PROOFplatform">PROOF community on Telegram</a>, you will see general updates from time to time. If you’d like to see more of these extended updates, please let me know.</p><p>I won’t bore you with a full update of everything that’s happened since my last update — that would take far too long as so much has occurred. Instead, lets focus on where we’re currently at and some of the initiatives we’re actively working on.</p><p>Firstly though, I want to say how incredibly bullish I am on PROOF and our future. When you look at the general market conditions, and how some of our recent launches have been performing (low volume &amp; mcap out the gate), you may think, “How could you possibly be feeling positive JP?”. And, to that I say… “I just am”.</p><p>There’s a saying in marketing that <em>if you try to appeal to everyone, you actually end up appealing to no-one</em>. What PROOF brings to this industry is compelling, but not everyone sees this yet. People are distracted by the allure of potentially hitting it big in the memecoin casino, which is why pumpfun and now Believe have gotten A LOT of attention. However, we know PROOF can provide investors with a higher chance of success (which, <a href="https://medium.com/@proofplatform/trading-proof-launches-how-much-you-could-be-making-with-real-numbers-2d820ec0b89a">we have proven</a>), with outliers providing even greater outsized returns.</p><p>As volume returns on-chain and people tire of losing money from scams and pump n’ dumps, they will discover PROOF — where you can buy high quality utility launches from KYC’d founders, building real businesses for the long-term. Whilst it may not have <em>broad</em> <em>appeal</em> right now, like pumpfun/believe, I am certain that everyone will be wanting to buy PROOF launches soon — so, how could you not feel bullish with that kind of conviction — hence why… “I just am”.</p><iframe src="https://cdn.embedly.com/widgets/media.html?type=text%2Fhtml&amp;key=a19fcc184b9711e1b4764040d3dc5c07&amp;schema=twitter&amp;url=https%3A//x.com/solananew/status/1930451960747942369&amp;image=" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"><a href="https://medium.com/media/e1c5741ced352452826c907a8151aaab/href">https://medium.com/media/e1c5741ced352452826c907a8151aaab/href</a></iframe><p>Now, it’s not lost on me that for people to become interested in PROOF launches that they must be performing well. We are far from satisfied with how our launches have been performing, and this has become our entire focus. We’re currently focused on a few areas:</p><ul><li>Team/project selection</li><li>Equipping them for success</li><li>Marketing &amp; KOL strategy</li><li>Engineering the launch</li></ul><p>Let’s explore each of them below…</p><h4>Team/project selection</h4><p>We are continually looking to raise the quality bar for the teams/projects we accept to launch on PROOF. We will no longer feel pressured to fill an empty slot for fear of not having a launch that week. We’d prefer to have less launches, that all perform extremely well, rather than a launch every week that is sub-par.</p><p>We have good deal flow pipelines in place, and we’ll continue to strengthen this.</p><h4>Equipping them for success</h4><p>We’ve been in a weekly launch cadence for quite some time now. And, it has proven difficult to provide the attention and support needed to teams. Sometimes they will be week on week, but in general we’ll aim for a launch every 2 weeks on average. So, with more time spent with teams we believe they’ll be better equipped for success.</p><p>We’re also making improvements to our processes for onboarding new teams into the Incubation Program, as well as incremental improvements to the program itself too.</p><p>We have new launch requirements that must be met before a team is able to choose a launch date, ensuring every launch is 100% “ready”. It means that we’re not just launching them because that was their launch slot and we no longer need to worry about it creating scheduling problems if moved due to other teams in the pipeline.</p><h4>Marketing &amp; KOL strategy</h4><p>We are going to improve on PROOF’s side when it comes to pre-marketing for teams, so that you hear about them earlier and we’re able to help amplify their launch with our growing reach.</p><p>PROOF will also become more involved in the KOL strategy. We’ve often left this critical component up to the team to handle, but we are increasingly seeing the need to leverage our knowledge and network to assist teams in this area.</p><h4>Engineering the launch</h4><p>We’re making some changes at the smart contract level to paint a better chart in the early stages. We constantly iterate at the smart contract level in order to improve things. This change is mostly centred around clearing out the tax clog faster (the process of swap and liquifying to provide tax revenue to the project). Because there are a lot of buys in the whitelist period, it creates a natural peak at the end of the whitelist period. A lot of tax pools up in the contract, which must be sold down. Because the swap and liquify occurs on a sell only, those sells are further amplified by the contract selling to extract the tax and it can make the chart look quite bad in the early minutes. If there is low buy pressure post-launch, the tax can take quite some time to clear and a lot of people also like to wait until the tax is unclogged before they buy. Therefore, we’re looking to execute some tax sells within the whitelist period and on buys too. This will actually lower the starting mcap for the public + clear the tax clog faster. This requires some additional engineering on a bot to achieve this as you can’t execute tax sells on buys, in general.</p><p>We are temporarily pausing launches whilst we implement these changes to both our process and the smart contract. We aim to resume by July 1 and have some extremely high quality projects in the pipeline under incubation.</p><p>In other news, we’re also building out PROOF’s SOL contracts. As you know, SOL has some great volume and it is important that we are positioned to support teams that want to launch there. It’s a different beast to EVM, and some changes to the way we do things will be necessary — including our revenue model. But, more information will be shared in due time once we have worked out all the details.</p><p>So, there is lots happening and lots to be excited about! At the end of the day, we know you really care about one thing, and that’s to see very successful launches come out of PROOF. I can assure you that we want the same thing, and all of our attention is focused here. Every type of public buyer, in the scenarios outlined, ends in profit — provided they buy every single PROOF launch.</p><p>The lowest amount of profit (i.e. after deducting the cost of buying the token) is from those that bought 0.5 ETH worth, 12–24 hours after the launch — <strong>US$50,215</strong>.</p><p>The highest profit? Those that bought a max wallet (1% of supply) 1–2 hours after the launch — <strong>US$314,382</strong>.</p><p>Here’s the kicker:<br>We didn’t base these numbers on selling at all-time highs — that wouldn’t be realistic. Instead, we assumed sells were made at <strong>40% below ATHs</strong>. 🎤💥</p><p>We also assumed sales were done in batches to reduce price impact (a 1% sale all at once would obviously move the chart significantly).</p><p>In the summary table above, you’ll find the total cost for all 27 launches (based on different scenarios), the average cost per token launch, and the win/loss rate. Not all PROOF launches have been profitable individually — but the outsized returns from the winners make up for the few losses. This is why it’s key to diversify and buy <strong>every</strong> launch.</p><p>As a side note, this mirrors how Venture Capital operates: they back potential billion-dollar ideas knowing most will fail. But the 1–2% that succeed more than make up for the rest. PROOF launches should be approached with that same mindset.</p><p>So, there you have it. The numbers don’t lie — 15 months of data proves that trading PROOF launches has been highly profitable.</p><h3>PROOF Pass — Investor Holding Patterns</h3><p>The data above is focused on public buyers (i.e. after the whitelist). PROOF launches start with a whitelist period — only whitelisted wallets can buy in the first 2 minutes. We do this to create better distribution and to protect the launch from professional snipers that would inevitably come in and control a large portion of the supply.</p><p>We launched the PROOF Pass at the end of 2023, and holders are automatically whitelisted for every PROOF launch. As PROOF has gained popularity, the PROOF Pass floor price has grown significantly. It’s currently at a <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/proof-pass">9 ETH floor price</a>, and is the most valuable membership based NFT in all of crypto. Something we’re quite proud of!</p><p>In most other launches, the early buyers are obfuscated as you don’t know who they are. Is it the team? Is it insiders? Is it snipers? Is it the early community? We can never know for sure. However, in PROOF launches, it’s quite obvious who the early buyers are — because they hold the PROOF Pass NFT. This visibility has occasionally led to misplaced blame toward PROOF Pass holders for adding sell pressure.</p><p>Yes — they do sell on the way up, and that’s actually healthy. It’s also part of why they invested in the most expensive membership pass in crypto. The real question is: <em>do they sell responsibly?</em></p><p>You guessed it — we ran the numbers.</p><p>Our findings were overwhelmingly positive, confirming that the PROOF Pass community is genuinely embracing a growing culture of responsible selling.</p><p>We compared the most recent 9 PROOF launches with other successful projects. And, we’re constantly iterating our way to getting our launches down to a “science”. One of our recent learnings was around the starting market cap for public buyers. In our last 2 launches in particular, we hit over $1m mcap within the first 2 mins of the launch (the whitelist period). We feel that this is too high, and we want to get this down so that we can provide the public with a great entry opportunity. Our ideal starting market cap for the public is under $500K.</p><p>To acheive this, our whitelist period max wallet is being reduced from 0.25% to 0.23%. Whilst this doesn’t seem like a huge shift, it actually makes a significant difference. i.e. well over $1m mcap with 0.25% and under $500K with 0.23%.</p><p>We’ve always said that we’re building PROOF “brick by brick”. We’ve laid down some strong foundations. And, we will continue to improve in all areas. Our deal flow for attracting quality teams to apply to PROOF is improving. We’re getting better at selecting stronger teams, who are solving an interesting problem in the right way. We’re improving our processes, to better equip teams with the knowledge they need to have a successful launch and beyond. And, I could go on and on and on. Let me share some metrics and then we can get into it. Want to share some raw and transparent thoughts with you about the future of PROOF.</p><h4>Metrics (last month):</h4><ul><li>New teams under incubation: 1</li><li>Projects launched: 4 ($BULLA, $CREA, $DMP, $FREN)</li><li>PROOF Launch Alerts channel subs: 1,282 (+249 MoM)</li><li>Revenue shared with $PROOF stakers: 169 ETH in total (+12 ETH MoM)</li></ul><p>Hopefully my opener didn’t scare you! 🙈 🤣</p><p>I’ve been running PROOF since early 2022 (back then it was known as <a href="https://medium.com/@proofplatform/what-is-hld-why-are-they-receiving-proof-c7a0b2f5af3c">Hackerlabs DAO</a>). Anyone that’s been here for a more than a few months knows that I’m building PROOF to have staying power in this industry. I’m constantly looking at ways we can improve our offering, grow our revenue and generally make our stakeholders happy. In order to do that effectively, sometimes you need to have a hard look at how you’re doing things and see if there are any tweaks needed to the model. A business that fails to continue innovating eventually dies, and in crypto that is even more important as the industry is ever-changing, and at a rapid pace too.</p><p>Any thoughts shared below are raw… meaning, they are early and not fully formed thoughts. Any changes are always calculated bets and require a lot more research before solidifying a plan. Therefore, they may not come to fruition or they may change a lot.</p><p>Firstly, it’s important to frame who our stakeholders in the business are:</p><ol><li>Those that buy, hold and/or stake $PROOF</li><li>Projects that launch their token with PROOF</li><li>Those that buy PROOF launched tokens</li></ol><p>Each stakeholder has some unique desires, but are <em>currently</em> brought together with a common thread. That is, if we can produce launches that perform well, then everybody is happy. Whilst this is a true statement, it is also a nuanced statement. There’s a lot that goes into that, with a number of levers to pull on and also many factors that are often out of our control.</p><p>I believe the power of $PROOF is in the value we can create and then share with $PROOF stakers. i.e. create value &gt; get paid &gt; share revenue with $PROOF stakers. Let’s unpack that a bit…</p><p>Over the past 12 months, since we relaunched the $PROOF token and the new PROOF Platform, we’ve shared over US$500,000 with $PROOF stakers with our 50% rev share model.</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*ll1Ui9Jq4gPYVkA1Rh9tMQ.png" /></figure><p>Our current market cap for $PROOF is $924,000 (when including staked tokens as part of the circulating supply).</p><p>We recently posed the question: <em>Do you care more about rev share or $PROOF going up in value?</em></p><p>50 people participated. Whilst not a huge sample size, the votes were fairly even and therefore doesn’t give us a ton of confidence either way.</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*UW1WbYjMNOge7Mlljsmz2A.png" /></figure><p>A lot of you wished you could vote for both options, which is of course fair enough, but the point of the exercise was to choose the one you wanted “most”, to give us a sense of where your head is at.</p><p>Here’s my raw, unfiltered thoughts…</p><p>At the end of the day, you all want to make money. That’s all you really care about, and that is not wrong. It’s just the truth, and that truth isn’t lost on me, nor does it concern me. If you’re “innit for the tech”, then more power to ya, but that’s not what drew me into crypto and since you’re here in the trenches with me, I’m assuming you’re here to make money and change the trajectory of your family’s life too. It’s just important that we all acknowledge that fact.</p><p>You can make money by buying $PROOF at a low price, and selling at a high price. You can also make money by staking $PROOF and receiving a rev share. But, which one can you make the <em>most</em> money on? Or, is it possible to do both? If we pump $PROOF, does that bring more attention to the PROOF ecosystem and enable us to therefore bring in more revenue? In order to pump $PROOF, we need to do something different to what we’re doing now, so what changes need to be made? If we pump $PROOF, is it only temporary and therefore we lose our OG holders that sell the top and left with a bunch of non-believers that sell us into the ground?</p><p>So many questions… Luckily, I have ALL the answers!!</p><p>Actually, no, I do not. Wouldn’t that be nice! 😅</p><p>Some of these questions are unanswerable. I’ve gone back and forth so many times on lots of different variations to various ideas, with the PROOF team internally, as well as with trusted community members in DMs. There are no easy answers.</p><p>The obvious choice that I was playing with was to switch from rev share to a buyback and burn model. So, instead of sharing revenue with $PROOF stakers (i.e. over US$500K in the past 12 months), that would be injected into the chart to buy $PROOF tokens and we’d then burn them and they’d be removed from the supply. We’d have some nice buy pressure on the chart and our token would become deflationary as we reduce the circulating supply. I don’t believe this alone is enough to pump the $PROOF token. And, it also takes away the primary utility of $PROOF, which is that you get a rev share when staking it. The only utility of $PROOF with this new model would be that you buy it because you think the price is going up. I just don’t think that lends itself to building a long term, sustainable token. And, it may provide a temporary pump at best.</p><p>So, what I have concluded is that if we push hard for a quick pump, I do believe that’ll result in a quick dump shortly after, and that would spell the end of PROOF.</p><p>At the end of the day, <strong>we need to build a strong, revenue generating business</strong>. Do that, and everyone is happy. It’s all that matters.</p><p>Repeating what I said above…</p><blockquote>I believe the power of $PROOF is in the value we can create and then share with $PROOF stakers. i.e. create value &gt; get paid &gt; share revenue with $PROOF stakers.</blockquote><p>So, how do we currently generate revenue?</p><p>Well, we’re an incubator for high quality utility launches and we generate revenue by charging tokens we launch a transaction fee on each trade — 2% in the first 24h, then 1% for the next 30 days. We then share 50% of our revenue generated with $PROOF stakers. This has been our core business model for the past 12 months, which has led to over US$500,000 being shared with $PROOF stakers. Not bad, but not where I want us to be.</p><p>So, how can we generate <em>more</em> revenue?</p><ol><li>Increased trading volume on our launches</li><li>Add new revenue streams</li></ol><h4>Increased trading volume on our launches.</h4><p>We currently generate revenue based on the trading volume a project receives. So, to increase revenue we need to see our projects perform better. We’re currently in a low volume period for new utility launches. This has significantly hampered our ability to generate good revenues lately — we have even lost money on some launches due to providing grants to teams (50% of revenue generated is still shared, so this “loss” is at the PROOF company’s expense, not $PROOF stakers). With the broader market starting to turn bullish, I believe money will start to flow down to micro-caps. We still have a headwind with memes sucking up a ton of the volume, but narratives change and utility will never die. When it comes back, it’ll be PROOF’s time to shine.</p><p>I believe we need to reduce our launch cadence and increase the quality.</p><p>We’re currently launching 1 project per week, and it has stretched me to capacity, to the point where I feel I’m not adding as much value to teams as I’d like to. It’s unsustainable. We can potentially scale up our team to handle a weekly launch cadence once revenues increase, but we’re not there yet. Therefore, I am becoming more picky about the projects we take on, which will naturally increase the quality of the project’s launching with PROOF.</p><h4>New revenue streams.</h4><p>We’re still getting 2–3 applications per week, and we’re rejecting almost all of them. This is lost revenue, and currently a missed opportunity. I believe we should create a new self-serve platform, with a completely separate brand to PROOF (but owned by PROOF), which is a decentralized platform where anyone can create and launch their own token (utility or meme). This was the original vision we had for PROOF. Investors would be protected by our audited, hard rug-proof contracts (liquidity locked, can’t stop sells, can’t raise taxes past 5%, can’t mint more supply etc). However, we can’t protect against teams that are simply there to tax farm or dump team tokens — but, that is the same for any launch you ape into that’s not launched with PROOF (hence why it’s important that this new platform be a completely different brand to PROOF). We’d make money within the initial high tax period only (i.e. first ~30 mins of launch), where we’d take 2% as a buy/sell tax. As usual, 50% of revenue would be shared with $PROOF stakers. So, it can be marketed as a “zero upfront cost” way to launch a token, with instant alerts being sent to a channel similar to <a href="https://t.me/PROOFlaunches">PROOF Launch Alerts</a> that will eventually have 1000s of subscribers. Therefore, from a project’s perspective, it’s a low cost way to launch a token to an audience, and is therefore an attractive value proposition.</p><p>So, that’s one new revenue stream we’ll be exploring. I have an idea for another service/marketplace we can build too, which I think is very much needed in this industry. I’m not ready to share more info about this yet as I don’t want anyone else to beat us to it, but I’m VERY bullish on it due to the size of the problem, the innovative solution and the accessibility of the market. Again, 50% of the revenue generated would be shared with $PROOF stakers.</p><p>And, so again I say:</p><blockquote>I believe the power of $PROOF is in the value we can create and then share with $PROOF stakers. i.e. create value &gt; get paid &gt; share revenue with $PROOF stakers.</blockquote><p>PROOF is a revenue generating business. We’ve made over US$1,000,000 over the past 12 months and have shared 50% of that with $PROOF stakers. I believe we can generate even more in 2025.</p><h4>Will this pump the $PROOF token over time?</h4><p>I believe the amount of revenue we can generate will eventually correlate to $PROOF increasing in value. I believe these new revenue generating initiatives can also serve as a catalyst for growth as awareness grows and our KOLs can help us spread the word. Therefore, when we are launching a new revenue stream such as the new decentralized launch platform, we will use it as a marketing catalyst to bring attention to $PROOF.</p><h4>Bet on me.</h4><p>A bet on $PROOF is a bet on our ability to build a successful, revenue generating business. As the founder of PROOF, it’s also a bet on me (JP). The weight of your expectation and trust in me is not lost on me. I’m not here to guarantee you that PROOF will be successful. I’m human. Business is hard and unpredictable, especially in crypto’s ever-changing landscape. I may fail.</p><p>BUT, I also have proven to you that I have staying power (full-time on PROOF since early 2022)… And, I don’t give up easily. I have demonstrated my ability to build a revenue generating business already (US$1,000,000 in 12 months). And, I have a track record of building successful companies:</p><blockquote>Jonathan Peacock (“JP”) has spent almost 15 years building and scaling web-based businesses. He sold his last company to <a href="https://www.joann.com/">Joann</a> — a household name, NASDAQ listed, retailer in the US. He co-founded the first subscription financial metrics platform for Braintree, which was quickly <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20210225135117/www.profitwell.com/recur/all/btmetrics">acquired by Profitwell</a>. As part of the acquisition, he joined the Advisory Board of Profitwell, which recently sold to <a href="https://www.paddle.com/">Paddle</a> for $200M. Previously, JP served as CEO of another tech startup, which raised millions, and ultimately sold to an Australian Stock Exchange listed company. He has advised Australia’s largest companies, running “growth” focused workshops for Google. And, most recently co-founded <a href="https://hanawallet.io/">Hana</a>, a multi-chain wallet, which raised an undisclosed round of funding, but has since left to start PROOF.</blockquote><blockquote>JP’s LinkedIn: <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanpeacock/">https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanpeacock/</a></blockquote><p>$PROOF is not going to be a token that offers you quick X’s. If that’s what you’re after, there are plenty of shiny tokens out there to chase. $PROOF is for those that believe in the long term vision that we have for the PROOF company, which is to create value, get paid, and share that revenue with $PROOF stakers.</p><p>Buy $PROOF, stake it, and earn passive income over a long period of time. Read on to learn how PROOF is doing it better and more transparently. And, why we believe this new launch option will lead to higher mcaps and increased volume for PROOF launched projects.</p><blockquote><strong><em>Higher mcaps</em></strong><br>= increased investor interest in PROOF launched tokens<br>= easier to attract quality KOLs to support the project</blockquote><blockquote><strong><em>More volume</em></strong><br>= more revenue share for $PROOF stakers<br>= more revenue for teams, giving them resource to grow the project</blockquote><blockquote><em>And, both lead to more projects wanting to launch their token with PROOF. Frequent launches that perform better is the goal, because that results in the whole PROOF ecosystem thriving.</em></blockquote><h4>What is a bundled launch?</h4><p>A bundled launch simply means that the team is the first snipe, enabling them to acquire a large amount of the token’s supply for themselves.</p><p>Bad actors have been using a bundled launch approach to acquire huge amounts of supply, spread across many wallets, and then proceed to dump those tokens into the market, effectively rugging the project.</p><p>You may have a negative view of bundled launches because of this reason.</p><h4>How bundled launches work for PROOF launches</h4><p>Teams can currently allocate themselves up to 30% of the supply. i.e. this supply is automatically sent to their deployer/owner wallet at launch.</p><p>For bundled launches, teams will now be able to <strong>buy</strong> up to 30% of the supply at launch.</p><p>So, instead of giving themselves a free allocation, it is now bought. If a team chooses to launch via a bundled launch, they can’t keep out any extra supply from the liquidity pool. 100% of the tokens will be added to the LP, and they will buy up to 30% (they could also choose to bundle less tokens… e.g. 20% etc).</p><p>This bundled supply is sent to the deployer/owner wallet so it’s completely transparent that the team owns the supply. Teams are vetted by PROOF, and of course must be KYC’d with Assure DeFi, in addition to our contracts being audited and hard rug-proof. PROOF launches are as safe as it gets.</p><p>Teams can choose the bundle approach for both our Stealth and Whitelist launch option. Our non-bundle launch approach will still be an option for teams that prefer it.</p><p>In summary, instead of teams allocating themselves a free allocation of up to 30% of supply (how it’s always been for PROOF launches), they now have the option of <em>buying</em> up to 30% of the supply at launch through our new bundled launch option.</p><h4>Why bundled launches lead to higher mcaps and more volume.</h4><p>You might be thinking… <em>“Why would teams want to spend ETH on buying up their own supply instead of just allocating it to themselves for free?”</em></p><p>Great question!</p><p>Here’s a few reasons why a bundled launch can ultimately lead to higher market caps and more volume:</p><ol><li><strong>A higher starting market cap</strong><br>Bundled launches have a higher starting market cap because the supply (up to 30%) is bought first by the team, and therefore the effective starting market cap that the public buys at starts at a higher base level.</li><li><strong>Less early sell pressure due to a higher starting mcap</strong><br>Because the first buyers are buying at a higher starting market cap, they need to wait longer to sell the token to get the same multiples. This leads to less early sell pressure from quick flippers, which can harm the progress of the project in the early hours.</li><li><strong>Higher market cap tokens = higher volume</strong><br>In general, a higher market cap token attracts increased trading volume for a multitude of reasons… They have higher liquidity, which stabilizes price impact. They are more attractive to investors due to the perceived value and are therefore more susceptible to entering price discovery. Higher mcaps makes it more visible, and increases the ability to attract higher quality KOLs to support the project.</li></ol><p>We’ve run the numbers to demonstrate the starting market cap, given the following variables:</p><ul><li>$2,500/ETH</li><li>30% bundle sniped</li><li>Varying starting liquidity amounts (1, 2, 5 &amp; 10 ETH)</li></ul><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*4N6Gg2vjiQoLXcPifE4n9g.png" /></figure><p>Here you can see that if we have a 1 ETH starting LP, then the starting market cap after a 30% snipe is ~$5,000. Still very low, but still 2x the starting mcap if the team didn’t bundle snipe the 30%. We are encouraging teams to add 3–5 ETH as a starting LP minimum whilst ETH is around these $2,500/ETH levels.</p><p>We’re constantly evolving PROOF based on new learnings and market demands. I love sitting down each month to write these. It’s a great way to look back on what we’ve accomplished and to refocus each month on what our goals are.</p><p>I’ve thrown around the phrase “brick by brick” a few times, and I’m starting to feel like the foundations we’ve built are becoming stronger and stronger. Just in time for the upcoming bull run on utility projects 😉</p><p>In order for PROOF to be a successful company, we need to have <strong>frequent launches</strong> that <strong>perform well</strong> (high volume + reach a high market cap).</p><p>If we have frequent launches that perform well, then the whole PROOF ecosystem flourishes…</p><ul><li>Investors are happy (high market cap = good ROI)</li><li>Teams are happy (high volume = tax revenue to execute on their vision)</li><li>$PROOF stakers are happy (high volume = more revenue share)</li></ul><p>And, the flywheel is healthy as a result:</p><ul><li>Happy investors = more attention &amp; buy-in for PROOF launches</li><li>Happy teams = more teams wanting to launch with PROOF</li><li>Happy $PROOF stakers = higher mcap on $PROOF token</li></ul><p>Our pipeline is strong, and we are moving into a phase of weekly launches. Over the past month, we welcomed 1 new project, but we also turned down a lot of projects as we are looking to continually raise the bar on the quality of the teams and projects we’re incubating.</p><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*drVT-ICKFiZAzAyn9h-gcA.png" /><figcaption>Current pipeline</figcaption></figure><p>We now have an incubator “program” that we put teams through to get them to a state of being “launch ready”. It was a big job to pull it all together, but I’m really pleased with how much more streamlined our processes have begun as we onboard more and more teams. It’s set us up well to scale up our operations.</p><p>So, on the “frequent launches” part of what makes PROOF successful, I’m reasonably happy that we’re in a good place. Inbound is strong, and a lot of our upcoming teams have come through referrals and I expect that to continue to happen.</p><p>My attention is now focusing in on the “perform well” part of what makes PROOF successful, which means each project launched by PROOF needs to achieve <em>high volume</em> + reach a <em>high market cap</em>.</p><p>There are multiple ways we can help projects be more successful, but we are focusing in on a few key strategies:</p><ol><li>Growing our PROOF Launch Alerts channel</li><li>Getting our PROOF Launch Alerts bot installed in crypto groups/channels</li><li>Growing our KOL network to offer better post-launch support</li><li>Giving projects a tried and true marketing “playbook” that they can easily execute upon with access to paid acquisition service providers</li></ol><p><strong>Growing our PROOF Launch Alerts channel.</strong><br>The PROOF Launch Alerts channel is where you can be instantly notified as soon as a PROOF token is live for trading. The founder, Chapo, is joining the PROOF team to handle all of our KOL engagements moving forward. Chapo is extremely well connected and operates with integrity — and he’s just an all-round, solid, hardworking guy that you want on your side. Teams will work closely with Chapo as he engages and onboards some of the biggest KOLs in the industry to support our PROOF launches. We’re extremely lucky to have him.</p><p><strong>Giving projects a tried and true marketing “playbook” that they can easily execute upon with access to paid acquisition service providers.<br></strong>We’re currently working on putting this playbook together. It’ll contain actionable strategies that teams can implement to grow their community and push more volume into the chart. We’re also connecting with a few paid marketing service providers, giving our teams easy access to things like trending services, billboards, YouTube reviews, other paid ads etc.</p><p>We’re feeling confident in our overall strategy, and each month for a while to come is likely more of the same moving forward.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[<figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/1*fKh0lOg5xFMiu8hyIWtAsA.png" /></figure><p>As I sit down to write this, 1 day after one of the biggest sell-offs we’ve had in a long time, I’m reminded of the importance of one of my guiding principles in life and business… and that is, PATIENCE.</p><p>We live in a world where instant gratification is obtainable in so many ways. And, crypto can further feed into this with tokens that <em>actually</em> go 100–1000x within days. But, I’m here to remind you that patience is an underrated skill… in life, business and investing. It’s often the patient that are rewarded with the greatest gains.</p><p>As we’ve built PROOF, we’ve had to be patient. It’s takes patience to build a strong pipeline of projects wanting to launch with PROOF. It takes patience to wait for better market conditions to launch these projects. It takes patience to grow a strong audience of investors that want to buy PROOF launched tokens. And, it takes patience to see the true value of $PROOF be reflected in the charts.</p><p>One thing I can assure you… I have a lot of patience.</p><p>For those that don’t know, I’ve been building technology companies for <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanpeacock/">over 15 years</a> now. I have energy for it. I’m really loving working with our founders to shape their ideas, and giving them the opportunity to fund their vision by launching with PROOF.</p><p>We’ve accepted another 4 teams into PROOF last month, bringing us to <strong>14 projects currently under incubation</strong>. With 14 projects under incubation, we should see weekly launches occurring as soon as the market turns bullish on utility based plays again. The majority of deal flow is coming through word-of-mouth. Either through someone in the PROOF community, our KOLs, or a past founder recommending us to their startup peers.</p><p>Of course, with weekly launches in our near future, we must ensure each project is a success. With that in mind, we are working on growing our investor community.</p><p>We believe that PROOF has the potential to be the pump.fun of utility plays. Here’s what I mean by that… pump.fun made launching a memecoin accessible to all, and by doing so, it created a central place where investors could go and discover the latest memecoins, which were launched in a novel and “safe” way. We know that memecoins have been sucking up a lot of liquidity this cycle, but we also believe that utility will be hot again. And, we’re not just saying that because we’re biased.
