Here comes some "last minute" designs I drew when I worked on "The Golden Compass" in 2007.
It was the very first time I explored the realistic look for a character development, although sometimes I went through a quite more cartoony approach to find the right feeling the team wanted to obtain...I loved working that way!

Ayons aussi une pensée pour Stan Winston, qui nous a quitté cette semaine.
(decidemment ça tombe comme à Stalingrad)
Il faisait partie de cette équipe d'artistes qui m'ont inspiré depuis gamin et grâce à qui j'ai aujourd'hui la chance de faire ce boulot passionnant et déjanté.
Moi je dis "Monsieur"..!
