Booking Confirmation: All booking requests are subject to availability and confirmation by our
office. We will contact you during working hours (or the next working day) to confirm. Without this confirmation,
your job will not proceed.
Online Quotes: Fixed price quotes from the online wizard are based on the information provided.
Changes (e.g., additional items, access issues) invalidate the quote, potentially leading to a requote or hourly
charges.
Access Information: Accurate information regarding walking distances (>10m) is required.
Undisclosed access issues (stairs, no elevator, lack of parking) may incur additional charges.
Service Scope: The quoted price covers goods carriage only, excluding assembly/disassembly.
Assistance Required (1 Man Van): If a 1 Man Van service is selected, assistance is required at
both locations for items over 25kg that cannot be safely carried by one person.
Ownership: You guarantee ownership and authority over all items being moved.
Safety: Moves are conducted according to Health & Safety guidelines. Prohibited items include
flammable/explosive materials, perishables, pets, currency, and other dangerous goods.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made the day before the service. Same-day cancellations
require a phone call at least 4 hours before the scheduled window. Late cancellation fees apply.
Liability ("At Owners Risk"): Goods are transported under the "At Owners Risk" terms as per the
Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017. We are not liable for loss or damage unless caused intentionally.
Insurance: Arrange transit cover through your Home & Contents provider or contact us for NZI
Transit Insurance options.
