  • Toiletries (new/unused, travel and full-sizes) to benefit neighbors in need via  Personal Care Foundation, Tabletop, and Seven Oaks Evanswood Citizens Association 
  • Diapers (open packs are fine) and any related supplies (baby food, formula, clothes, teething rings, bottles, etc) for families in need
  • Clothing (new/preloved) for families in need

  • 2/7 Tabletoptoiletries collection for the Free Little Pantry located outside of the TP Presbyterian Church 
  • 2/7 Old Takoma Ace Hardware free popcorn, hot chocolate, stickers and $5 off coupons.
  • 1/31 TPSS Coop Feed a Neighbor Fund collection, Co-op Act of Kindness prompts, food drive for STM

Winter Coat Drive A Success

Over 800 brand new and pre-loved winter coats were shared with those in need! Our thanks to our many partners including: Hindu Community of Greater Washington, The Senior Connection, Helping Hands Army, TPSS Co-op, Tabletopdc, Yoga Heights, The Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, Piney Branch ES PTA, Takoma Park ES, Adat Shalom Synagogue, STM Walter Johnson High School club, and STM Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School club! Thanks also to our amazing Teen Pantry teens: Ved, Kai, Jacinto, Zadin, Nayomi, Ashley, Evelyn, Kamila, Zoe, Corrina, Peter, Nathan, Jessie, Jamal, Simone, Jack, Alex for sorting the jackets and helping distribute them.

Sponsor a family this Thanksgiving

The holidays are just around the corner and Small Things Matter needs your help make the holidays a little nicer for Takoma Park and Silver Spring families. Sponsor a family and provide them with Thanksgiving whole roaster chicken ($10) or whole turkey ($20). Our goal is $10,000. STM will provide them with a bag of fresh veggies. STM coat drive

We will be collecting new and gently worn warm jackets, vests, hats, and gloves for KIDS and ADULTS at Takoma Park ES, Piney Branch ES, Tabletop, Takoma Academy, and the TPSS Coop starting this Monday October 27th through Monday, November 24th. 
Donated items will be distributed at the TPSS Co-op on Tuesday, December 2nd from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Vaccination Clinic at the TP Street Festival

October STM Teen Pantry! Our thanks to all the wonderful students for serving over 200 families in need by distributing eggs, masa, oil, rice, beans, household goods, feminine hygiene products, bras, and more.
