A little bit of Congo

Michi has built and painted a few sections of the river Congo and some more terrain and miniatures to go with it. The river was made from Playmobil river sections of their African wildlife range.

 

 

The tents were 3-D printed by Doc and slightly refurbished by Michi.

Sigmarite Mausoleum

Da ist doch Games Workshop tatsächlich mal etwas gelungen, das man auch fernab des Warhammer-Universums gebrauchen kann! Da es tatsächlich mehrere Mausoleen sind (und nicht wie der irreführende Titel auf der Schachtel nur eins) und das ganze Ensemble zu einem richtigen Friedhof arrangiert werden kann, macht das die Packung tatsächlich ihr Geld wert.

Jedes Teil ist in der Schachtel mindestens doppelt vorhanden, so dass man eine ganze Menge Plastik für sein Geld erhält. Der Zusammenbau ist unkompliziert und mit den üblichen Bemaltechniken lassen sich schnell ansprechende Geländeteile herstellen, die prima die Sichtlinien versperren und immer wieder neu arrangiert werden können. Michi hat sich gedacht, dass das für einen viktorianischen Friedhof ein tolles Steampunk-Ambiente abgeben würde, genauso gut wie eine nette Szenerie für Frostgrave und andere fantastische Abenteuer. Diese lange Umzäunung ist viermal vorhanden, so dass man damit wirklich ordentlich was anfangen kann:

Just married!
My best friend and I got married last Friday after many years together. Michi, the other half of the Tableterror Team, a dear friend and highly talented guy painted these two miniatures and presented them to us as part of his wedding present.

My wife and I are very well met, I think. We are thrilled by this outstanding gift.Thank you, Michi!

The Village Shop

This is the 'Village Shop', a MDF Kit from TTCombat for 25/28mm scale.

Assembling was very easy. The roof and the first floor are removable, so you can play the entire building. I will use it with Bolt Action.

For the first time I used watercolours from the artists' store and applied them with a brush to try out an alternative to airbrushing with acrylics. Although I am not dissatisfied with the result, I will probably airbrush buildings again in the future. It is simply a question of time.

The 82mm mortars were usually regarded as artillery than infantry weapons by the Red Army.

The miniatures are again from the great female ranges of Bad Squiddo.

More Soviets. The SMG squad with an optional LMG team and a female sniper team are ready for combat.

The squad is assembled from the Soviet plastic box by Warlord Games. The femals snipers are from the great female ranges of Bad Squiddo.
