Star Wars Legion: Lost Battle

Bringing the empire to its knees....
All figures are in 35mm Star Wars Legion Scale.The 3D files for the five models together cost about $10 and are from SkullForge Studios, one of the myriad 3D designers now available for the miniatures hobby.  The printing (in resin) took about 4 hours, painting and basing took about one day.

Spiders!

Radioactive, mutated giant spiders in the post-apocalypse to make rolling the dice on the random encounters table even more interesting.
Printed with good old PLA filament and very high resolution. I was undecided on the color scheme at first, but then selected a very unnatural, bright turquoise because it has such a nice glow-in-the-dark effect (but it's actually not a glow-in-the-dark color).

 

PULVIS ET UMBRA - Staub und Schatten

Ob die beiden Gladiatorinnen die Namen "Staub" und "Schatten" tragen, ist nicht bekannt. Michi hat zwei weitere Figuren von EL VIEJO DRAGON bemalt:

Dominatrix

Michi hat eine Figur aus der Serie "Little Dragonettes" von EL VIEJO DRAGON bemalt. Diese Figürchen sind als Maßstab 1:43 oder 40mm ausgezeichnet, passen jedoch zu den meisten heutzutage in 32mm erscheinenden realistisch proportionierten Modellen.

Alien - "In space no one can hear you print"

"Final report, the commercial star-ship Nostromo. Third officer reporting. The other members of the crew — Kane, Lambert, Parker, Brett, Ash, and Captain Dallas — are dead. Cargo and ship destroyed. I should reach the frontier within six weeks. With a little luck the network will pick me up. This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off."

The last few weeks I've been looking a bit more into SLA printing with these results. The "Alien" spacemen are purchased print files (STLs) and printed by myself with a print resolution of 0.03mm. The quality is outstanding in my opinion and a real gamechanger in the miniatures hobby.
Everything in the photos comes from the 3D printer. The Xenomorph eggs and the scenery (both free STL files) are printed with conventional PLA filament.
