Hello Again!

I've taken some time off and now I'm back....and also RETIRED! Yay for me. Just a few pics to show what I've been doing. The last of the family has gotten their quilts and all is well. These Quilts were definitely a labor of love. Now everyone has a quilt and I can rest easy. Even my dear husband has joined in the fun. He quilted both quilts!!! Isn't that great!?

This is for my niece Andrea. The "Heather's Lacey Heart" pattern. It turned out great. Here are some up close pics.

Then for Tiffani, I designed " A Tiffany's Box". She loved it.

MY NEW BABY!!

I actually got this last year in January. But I waited to post. I wanted to get used to using it. It was very intimidating for me at first. But now it's my buddy. Hope you like it.

Well....the quilts are done and on the kids beds. They really were happy with them. Now on to the next project!

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I've posted a message. That's how out of control life is right now. We have gotten to have a couple of breaks but I've also had a major surgery and am preparing for another. Sewing is at a minimum right now because of back issues but that will be taken care of soon and this is the year, hopefully (fingers crossed) I will finally be getting a real quilting machine. *smile* I'm posting a few pics of vacation last year and will see y'all soon.

We did a few New Orleans tours and a week long Cruise. Fun Fun!!!
