Welcome to the TSSS (UK)

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS WITH TURNER SYNDROME
The Society provides accurate and up-to-date information on Turner Syndrome and the many aspects of living with the condition on a daily basis. The TSSS is run by volunteers all closely involved with Turner Syndrome. Membership is not compulsory but offers further benefits and the modest annual fee enables the Society to continue to offer support to others. Please JOIN or DONATE.

  • Turner Syndrome is a chromosome abnormality affecting only females, caused by the complete or partial deletion of the X chromosome.
It should be emphasised that each girl/woman with TS is an individual and what is relevant to one is not necessarily relevant to another.
There are a number of treatments available to those with TS, and each girl/woman should be treated according to her individual needs.
  • Our dedicated YouTube channel will provide answers to many of your questions about Turner Syndrome and living with the condition.
The TSSS is delighted with the continued success of the new website and social media campaign called "Missing an 'X'".
It is important that all members know that girls with TS are entitled to Growth Hormone treatment thanks to the TSSS.
  • The Society offers access to information and friendly advice to women and girls with TS.
The ASPECTS newsletter is an important communication source for all TSSS members.

A series of informative fact sheets which are available in printed format or free PDF download.
To help open, honest and informative conversation about pregnancy and childbirth.
  • We now have 26 friendship groups around the UK and Ireland where members can meet socially.
