At Uber, we believe hackathons are great in that they force us to learn how to turn ideas to working demos with time constraints. They are also great ways to work with new people and build strong ties.
We invite you to Uber’s first ever college Hackathon at Uber’s headquarters in downtown San Francisco. Hackathons are an internal tradition at Uber where our engineers stay up all night to create a working product or prototype from scratch. On March 3rd we’ll be hosting an external 24-hour hackathon where any college student is welcome.
Come to UberHacks while we stay up all night hacking, learning and having some fun! Start brainstorming ideas and forming teams (of up to 4 people). We'll supply the food, fun diversions, prizes, and some expert guidance in the form of our engineers. You bring your laptop and fun ideas! We’re excited to see what everyone will build!
