UI8 Terms of Service
Welcome to UI8! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the UI8 platform (the “Service”), including our website and any related tools or services.
By using UI8, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Licensing & Usage
UI8 assets are premium, curated design resources. By purchasing or downloading an asset from UI8, you receive a license, not ownership of the asset.
1.1 What Is an End Product?
An End Product is a final, completed work that adds significant value beyond the original UI8 asset.
Examples of Allowed End Products:
- Websites, mobile apps, and software where UI8 assets are embedded in the design.
- Marketing materials such as presentations, social media graphics, and videos.
- Physical products like printed posters, merchandise, or packaging.
- Custom client projects where UI8 assets are integrated into a broader design.
An End Product is NOT:
- A UI Kit, theme, or template that allows users to extract or edit UI8 assets.
- A stock asset library or component pack that competes with UI8.
- A redistributed or resold version of UI8 assets, whether modified or not.
Example:
- Using UI8 icons in an app design:Allowed.
- Creating a UI Kit using UI8 icons and selling it:Not Allowed (Redistribution).
1.2 Customer Permissions & Restrictions

1.3 Unauthorized Resale & Distribution
You may NOT:
- Upload UI8 assets to other marketplaces or resale platforms.
- Share or sell UI8 assets through private channels, bots, or third-party services.
- Claim UI8 assets as your own work or attempt to resell them in any form.
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension, permanent bans, and legal enforcement.
1.4 RAW images
Raw images on UI8 are licensed under the same End Product terms and restrictions set out in Section 1.
Free Raw images may be available to all users where marked as free.
All other Raw content, including full Raw products and high-resolution downloads, is available only to users with an active All Access Pass.
2. Author Terms
These terms apply to authors who sell digital assets on UI8.
2.1 Payments & Earnings
How Payments Work:
- Authors earn a percentage of each sale (revenue split determined by UI8).
- Payments are processed monthly via PayPal.
- KYC verification must be complete before receiving payouts.
Payment Delays & Issues:
- If fraudulent activity is detected, UI8 may hold payments for further review.
- UI8 reserves the right to adjust revenue share or withhold funds in cases of dispute or violation of terms.
- If you believe there is an issue with your payment, message us on Live Chat and we will review and resolve the matter.
2.2 Author Responsibilities

3. All Access Pass Terms
The All Access Pass grants access to download products on UI8 based on the plan purchased.

- Download limits reset at midnight UTC.
- Starter plan includes access to design assets (UI kits, icons, mockups, fonts) and Coded Templates, plus a small monthly allowance of 5 AI credits to try Persona and Drop. It does not include Design DNA. Starter subscribers can purchase additional credit packs at any time.
- Pro and Pro+ plans include full access to the product library — Coded Templates, Design DNA, and a monthly allowance of AI credits for use in Persona, Drop, and other UI8 AI tools.
- All-Access Pass is for individual use only. Sharing accounts is strictly prohibited.
- Unused downloads do not roll over.
Raw access: Free Raw images may be available to all users where marked as free. Full Raw products and high-resolution Raw downloads are available only to active All-Access Pass subscribers.
Existing Lifetime members: The Lifetime plan is no longer available for new purchases. Existing Lifetime members retain permanent access to the full UI8 library, including Coded Templates and Design DNA, with 40 downloads per day and 5 monthly AI credits for Persona, Drop, and other UI8 AI tools. No action required.
Legacy pass holders (Basic and Elite): Users with active legacy Basic or Elite passes retain access to all products and AI tools. Legacy Basic pass holders receive the same monthly AI credit allowance and AI tool access as Pro subscribers. Legacy Elite pass holders receive the same monthly AI credit allowance and AI tool access as Pro+ subscribers.
4. AI Tools
UI8 offers a growing suite of AI-powered tools designed for designers and product teams. Access to these tools is governed by both these AI Tools terms and the Credit System terms in Section 5.
The AI tools currently available are Persona, Drop, and Design DNA. Additional tools may be added under this umbrella in the future and will be governed by these same terms unless otherwise specified.
4.1 Persona
Persona is UI8's AI tool for generating consistent character renders across scenes, poses, and styles. Persona is available to all UI8 users with credits — either monthly credits granted by an active All Access Pass, or purchased credit packs.
You own what you generate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you own the character renders you generate with Persona. UI8 claims no ownership over your outputs and grants you all rights it may have in them. Persona outputs are not UI8 assets and are not subject to the End Product redistribution restrictions in Section 1 — you can use them however you want.

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for clearing the rights to any reference material or copyrighted elements you incorporate. UI8 makes no warranty that any particular Persona output is free of similarities to third-party works.
4.2 Drop
Drop is UI8's 3D scene composer for designers. Drop lets you build animated 3D scenes from devices, custom 3D models, lighting, cameras, environments, and effects, and export them as images, video, or code.
Access tiers:
- Free to try. Anyone can open Drop in the browser and use the 3D canvas, devices, lighting, animation timeline, and other core features without an All Access Pass.
- All Access Pass required to save projects, export video, and export code (React, vanilla JS, or GLB). Without an active AAP, your work in Drop is session-only and cannot be exported as video or code.
- AI credits are consumed by AI-powered features inside Drop — currently panorama/background generation and 3D model generation. Credits work the same way as in any other UI8 AI tool (see Section 5).
You own what you generate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you own the scenes you compose in Drop and the AI-generated outputs (panoramas, environments, 3D meshes) you produce inside it. UI8 claims no ownership over your work and grants you all rights it may have in your outputs. AI-generated outputs from Drop are not UI8 assets and are not subject to the End Product redistribution restrictions in Section 1 — you can use them however you want.

4.3 Design DNA
Design DNA is structured design system data extracted from UI8 products, formatted for use with AI coding tools. Design DNA includes color palettes, typography scales, spacing tokens, and component patterns.
Design DNA is available for products where the author has opted in. Not all products on UI8 have Design DNA.
Who can access Design DNA?
- Pro, Pro+, and Lifetime All-Access Pass subscribers can access Design DNA for any opted-in product in the library.
- Starter All-Access Pass subscribers do not have access to Design DNA. Starter subscribers may purchase individual products to access Design DNA for those products (if available).
- Individual purchasers can access Design DNA for products they have purchased (if available).
- Free users can access Design DNA for free products only (if available).
What you CAN do with Design DNA:
Important: AI-generated output created using Design DNA is considered an End Product and is subject to the same End Product terms in Section 1.1.
What you CANNOT do with Design DNA:
Rate limits: Design DNA copies are limited to 60 per hour per account for anti-abuse purposes. Design DNA copies do not consume AI credits.
4.4 Shared Rules Across All AI Tools
- You are responsible for the prompts you submit and the outputs you choose to publish, distribute, or resell.
- UI8 may log prompts and outputs for abuse prevention, billing reconciliation, and product improvement. UI8 will not sell your prompts or outputs to third parties.
- UI8 may suspend access to AI tools without refund of purchased credits if the account is used to generate content that violates these Terms or applicable law. Suspension affects future tool access only — it does not retroactively revoke ownership of outputs you have already generated lawfully.
- UI8 may add, remove, or modify AI tools, models, and pricing at any time. Existing purchased credits remain valid and can be spent on any then-available AI tool.
5. Credit System
UI8 AI tools are powered by a single, platform-wide credit balance. Credits are consumed when you run an AI action — for example, generating a character render in Persona or generating a panorama in Drop. The credit cost of each action is shown in-product before you confirm.
5.1 Two Types of Credits
- Monthly credits are granted automatically on the 1st of each month based on your active All Access Pass tier. Monthly credits do not roll over — any unused monthly credits expire when the next month's allowance is granted.
- Purchased credits are credits you buy in one-time credit packs. Purchased credits do not expire.
When you run an AI action, monthly credits are consumed first. Purchased credits are only used once your monthly allowance reaches zero, so your paid balance is preserved.

If you upgrade your All Access Pass mid-month, your monthly credit balance resets to the new tier's allowance. Unused credits from the previous tier are not added on top of the new grant.
5.3 Credit Packs
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Purchased credits never expire and can be spent on any UI8 AI tool that accepts credits.

UI8 may add, remove, or change credit pack pricing and sizes at any time. Credits already in your balance are not affected by future pricing changes.
5.4 Refunds and Clawback
- Credit packs are non-refundable once any portion of the purchased credits has been spent.
- If you have not used any of the credits from a pack, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting support. The pack's full credit amount will be removed from your balance.
- If a credit pack purchase is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance immediately. If your balance is below the refunded amount at the time of reversal, the balance will be reduced to zero and the remaining shortfall may, at UI8's discretion, be billed back to the account before further AI tools usage is permitted.
5.5 Failed Jobs
If an AI action fails for a reason on UI8's side (for example, a model error or a server error), the credits for that action are automatically refunded to your balance. If an action fails because of input you provided (for example, a prompt that violates content rules), credits are not refunded.
5.6 Fair Usage
- Credits are tied to the account that purchased them. You may not transfer, sell, or share credits between accounts.
- Automated scraping, batch-running scripts that bypass in-product rate limits, or attempts to manipulate the credit ledger are prohibited and may result in account suspension without refund.
- UI8 may apply per-account or per-tool rate limits in addition to the credit cost for abuse-prevention purposes.
6. Refund Policy
Digital products are non-refundable.
- Individual product purchases are final and non-refundable.
- All Access Pass subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Credit pack refunds are governed by Section 5.4 above.
All Access Pass Refund Policy
We understand that sometimes users forget to cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility depends on your plan:
Starter, Pro, and Pro+ (Yearly)
If your subscription renewed unintentionally, you may request a refund if:
- You contact us within 7 days of the renewal date, and
- You have not made any downloads after the renewal.
If downloads were made after renewal, the subscription is considered used and is not eligible for a refund.

7. Account Management & Fair Usage
Security & Access
- Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure.
- Each individual license permits access on up to 5 devices/IPs.
Fair Usage
File sharing is strictly prohibited.
- Only the purchaser (license holder) may use the downloaded products.
- You may NOT share UI8 files with colleagues, friends, family members, or anyone else.
- If multiple team members need access, they must purchase their own license or obtain a team license.
AI Tools Fair Usage
- Design DNA copies do not count toward daily download limits and do not consume AI credits.
- Persona, Drop, and other AI tools consume credits per action as described in Section 5.
- Automated scraping, batch-running scripts that bypass rate limits, or attempts to circumvent the credit system are prohibited.
Violations of this policy, including unauthorized file sharing, may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
- Filing a chargeback may result in account suspension until resolved.
- Repeated chargebacks may lead to permanent termination.
- UI8 reserves the right to dispute chargebacks with evidence (e.g., purchase history, IP logs).
Fair Usage
If you believe you have a legitimate dispute, please contact us first:
Attempting to bypass our refund policy through chargebacks may result in loss of access to your account and purchased products.
9. Intellectual Property
Ownership:
- Authors retain full copyright ownership of their Items.
- Customers receive a license, not ownership of the content.
UI8 Branding & Content:
- UI8’s platform, branding, and interface are protected under copyright laws.
- You may NOT reproduce, modify, or repurpose UI8’s design.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, U.A.E.
- Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, U.A.E.
