Sovereign Cloud Services
Vinland Technology builds sovereign-to-you cloud services using Free Software.
The basis of any sovereign software is possession of the source code. If you don't possess the source code, then it will be hard to know what the software does.
The Free Software movement has helped to bring about licenses that allow everyone to use and modify software specifically for their own needs. This allows all of us to audit the software we use as long as the software we use is licensed with a Free Software / Open Source (FOSS) license.
Our goal is to build Software-as-a-Service for those without the time
or inclination to do it themselves — to productize FOSS. Because
we build on Free Software, you can always take what we've built and
rebuild it yourself. We'll even help.
Currently there is a "beta" program for sovereign email hosting. We have services available in Sweden and in Finland.
