About the challenge
WaterHacks is the first online Hackathon hosted by Our Water Planet and Hackswift, non profits working towards sustainability and education! Throughout the event, you will be able to work on critical skills to develop novel ideas to combat real world problems. This year, our Hackathon will be geared towards combating a pressing real world issue that we all are facing: water sustainability.
Water Sustainability is something that we all need to work on as a community, thus, in this hackathon, you will be given the opportunity to create a solution to this issue! The final prompt for this event will be released later, closer to the date of the Hackathon.*
In teams of up to 4 participants, you will be able to collaborate on this pressing issue and create innovative solutions to the prompt. Coding is not required for this Hackathon, however, if you want to code a solution, you may do so!
*The Hackathon schedule is still working in progress, and will be posted few week(s) before hackathon
