Verizon targets 'volume-based' growth in 2026 with forecast for flat wireless service revenue, higher earnings

Verizon reported a strong finish to 2025, adding more new phone customers in the fourth quarter than the rest of the year combined. The US operator also laid out an ambitious growth plan for the new year, saying it targets 2-3x higher phone customer net additions but flat wireless service revenues as it works out a more volume-based growth strategy. A reduction in capital expenditure and slightly adjusted earnings will support a modest increase in free cash flow still in 2026.
