Set up your budget once.
After that, every cycle takes minutes.
YourDigits finds your leaks, builds a budget around your pay cycle, retunes it each payday, and you just approve.
Built by an accountant who tracked 4,600+ transactions by hand. No bank linking required.
What budgeting feels like in most apps. What it feels like here.
You type every transaction. Pick a category. Pick an account. Date it. Twenty seconds a pop, fifteen times a day, until one Tuesday you don't.
Most of what you'd type is already on the schedule. The few that aren't, you say out loud.
Half of them end up miscategorized. You fix them at month end while wondering why you signed up for this.
Your recurring transactions arrive in their right category. Nothing to fix at month end.
Every month you rebuild the budget. Same bills, same numbers, same envelopes. From scratch, like you didn't already do this twelve times.
Last cycle's plan is next cycle's starting point. The work compounds; it doesn't reset.
Rent's due on the 1st. You get paid every other Friday. The app pretends it's a calendar month. The math never lines up.
Your budget runs on whatever cycle you actually get paid on.
You see the data. You still don't know what to fix first. Pay debt? Save? Invest? Each piece of advice contradicts the last.
The right things get funded first, before lifestyle. The order is built in.
You're at 67% of your grocery budget on day 12 of a 14-day cycle. Is that bad? You can't tell.
Three numbers tell you: where you are vs where you should be, what payday will leave you with, when the spending pace shifted.
Most of your transactions are already on the schedule.
Fixed bills mark themselves paid. Planned items pre-generate as one-tap rows. Categories carry forward. The few unplanned things, you just talk.
Setup is the hard part. After that, every cycle starts pre-populated. Each payday is a five-minute check-in, not a rebuild.
Auto-paid bills
Fixed bills mark themselves paid on the day.
Rent, subscriptions, utilities. Scheduled once, paid on date, off your plate.
One-tap recurring
Planned items show up as one-tap rows.
Groceries, gas, coffee. Pre-generated from your schedule. Hit confirm.
Carries forward
Categories and amounts copy to the next cycle.
No rebuilding the budget every month. Last cycle's plan is next cycle's starting point.
Pay-cycle aligned
Aligned to your pay cycle, not the calendar.
Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, semi-monthly, custom. Whatever cycle you actually get paid on.
When payday hits, your priorities get funded before lifestyle spending. This is the order.
First in line: the leaks.
Spending plan, emergency fund, employer match, high-interest debt. These get funded before lifestyle. Most people get the order wrong (investing before paying off high-interest debt is the classic). The Leak Ladder is the priority order. The app runs it automatically.
Once everything below is handled, put your money to work. This is the last rung because it only makes sense when the foundation is solid.
Learn more →Future you needs about 15% of your income going toward retirement. Most people start this too late or skip it entirely.
Learn more →You need something to save toward beyond emergencies. A house deposit, a trip, a buffer. Without goals, extra money just leaks.
Learn more →Car loans, BNPL, personal loans. Less urgent than high-interest, but still costing you.
Learn more →Once the expensive debt is gone, build your full safety net (3–6 months). This is what keeps you from going back into debt.
Learn more →Debt above 7% costs more than investing would earn you. Paying it down is a guaranteed return.
Learn more →Your employer is matching what you put in. Every pay cycle you skip this, you’re turning down free money.
Learn more →A small safety net ($1,000 or one month) keeps one bad week from undoing everything above it.
Learn more →Nothing works if you don’t know where your money is going. This is the foundation everything else sits on.
Learn more →Start at the bottom. Work up.

Know if it's working at a glance.
Three numbers tell you whether the cycle is on track: how much of your plan you've spent vs how much of the cycle has passed, what payday brings next, and whether your spending pace shifted.
Spending pace
Know if you're on pace mid-cycle, not after.
Percent spent vs percent of cycle elapsed. One glance tells you whether you're ahead, on pace, or behind.
Cash at period end
See what payday will leave you with.
A live projection of your ending balance if you keep going at this rate.
Adaptive targets
Slip up? The plan adjusts instead of punishing you.

For the unplanned ones, just talk.
For the unplanned ones, just talk.
Most transactions are already on the schedule. Coffee you didn't budget for, a surprise refund, the slice the schedule doesn't catch. Five seconds, no forms, no categories.
You speak naturally
"Fifty bucks at Costco, twenty at Chick-fil-A, and fifteen at Target."
We parse everything
Three transactions, three merchants, three categories, matched to accounts. Automatically.

Mapping your transactions...
Why this exists.
I've tracked every personal transaction since 2020. Over 4,600 entries. I'm an accountant so the habit kind of came with the job. I call it my financial diary. A record of my life, written in transactions instead of words.
But even with all that data, I didn't always know what to do with it. I had habits I could see but no system for fixing them in the right order. Most people I know are in one of two camps: tried tracking and quit, or never started because they assumed it'd be a grind. My cousin lived in the first camp. He'd try tracking, last 2-3 weeks, and quit. Every time. Not because he didn't care. Because the apps never told him what to fix and re-set him up every cycle.
So I built something for both of us. You just talk, and it detects where your money is leaking and tells you what to fix first, in what order. I call it the Leak Ladder.
The goal: make a 5-year streak possible for someone who doesn't have accounting in their blood. Including me.
