I know this website is mostly about spreading fascist ideology but I thought I’d break that up in your feed with a video of one of the beavers who live at Warleigh Nature Reserve washing its tummy.

So little is being done about 38,000 hectares of woodland being destroyed by invasive Rhododendron Ponticum and more from Cherry Laurel (that for some reason are both still legal to sell in the U.K.?!) that BBC noticed our work and came to learn the ropes.

If there’s one thing I care about that’s not climate related it’s making APIs you won’t hate. The first step to guarding yourself from an increasingly sloppy world is having a style guide automated. My babies Speccy & Spectral died. OpenLint is the answer.

Sometimes being neurospicey makes it hard to communicate effectively on topics I care deeply about, but I think everyone knows how much I care about reforestation.

Last year U.K. created 15,700 hectares of woodland, less than half its annual target. We fail by about the same amount every year. If the 500,000 trees U.K. gov announced were about woodland creation (they’re not) then that wouldn’t put a dent in the ~14,000,000 annually needed.
