Timothy J. O'Donnell

I am an Associate Professor and William Dawson Scholar in the Department of Linguistics at McGill University, where I co-direct the Montréal Computational and Quantitative Linguistics Laboratory (MCQLL). I am a core academic member of Mila—Québec Artificial Intelligence Institute where I hold a Canada CIFAR AI Chair. I am also an associate member of the School of Computer Science, where I am a member of McGill NLP and an affiliate member of the Reasoning and Learning Laboratory. I am Deputy Scientific Director at CHI, a focused research institute working on probabilistic programming for cognitive AI and the sciences of the mind.
