My cute kids on Valentines Day. Their Dad even remembered a present for them.

This was my awesome valentine present - strawberry roses. It was so perfect. It is always nice to be shown your loved, but flowers and jewelry are expensive and chocolates make me fat, so I have to give it to my husband this valentines day - perfect job!

The Dog Derby - Morgan and Shelby did the mutt pull side by side. It was really funny cuz Morgans dog just zoomed down the track and Shelbys took his time. Well at the end Shelby looked terrified. I asked what was wrong and she showed me her front tooth on her glove. I guess when the dog sled stopped she hit the bar and knocked her tooth out. So now we have no front teeth! So cute.

What is better than Rascal Flatts? Going to Rascal Flatts concert for FREE:). Driving 5 hours to watch a 3 hour show then driving 5 hours home! It was a great trip and the show was awesome! Thanks Ande for driving all night! Thanks Emily for the tickets!

My mom always says her kids each married the perfect person for them. I have to agree.

Aaron's perfect for me because:

~he works SO hard

~he is very smart (makes up for me) and can figure anything out

~he keeps me on my toes (so I can't get stuck in too much of a routine)

~he is the BEST dad, always reading to the kids, playing UNO, or going snowmobiling

~he reminds me to have fun and relax occasionally

~he understands the gospel and tries to live it

~he can figure out any project with the house and make it beautiful

~he is very thoughtful and lets me exercise every morning

~he is very loyal to his family - immediate and extended

~he's HOT :)

~he doesn't get worked up - very patient with me and the kids

Hair Cuts

Shelby really does not like her hair combed. We have been talking about cutting it for a while and finally decided to do it. She was a little nervous, but it turned out so cute and combing it is ten times easier. I think it was a good move.

Morgan got in on the action too. For some reason this haircut was a nightmare. He kept moving all over. I decided to give him his favorite thing GUM to settle him down. It worked for a minute, until all the little fine hairs tickled his nose. He wiped his nose on the cape with even more hair which stuck to his face because of the gum I gave him. We learned a couple of valuable lessons this time. Stick with what we know works and no GUM!
