December

We have had fun in December. We did our annual trip to Disneyland the first Saturday in December. We even found Santa there. We also enjoyed our annual boys against girls gingerbread house contest. Kate is 7 1/2 months old and everyone is VERY excited for Christmas!! We have had major windstorms the last couple weeks. It knocked our power out for 33 hours. Broke my patio umbrella in half. Tore some of my fence and basically been a real pain. All in all though, we are a happy and content bunch! (Oh! The one pic of is Courtney being named Student of the Month at her school ;)

Update

So I DO have a reason for never posting. We switched a Mac Desktop awhile back and it has taken me this long to figure out how to get my pictures off it and on to here :) Lets see, Courtney started kindergarten and Grant is in preschool. Both have soccer games every Saturday. Kate is 5 months old. Ashley is an adventurous two year old. I flew all four kids to Utah by myself the week. Lots of fun and we did great.

Happy 4th Birthday, Grant!

Happy birthday to my little boy. He has been so excited to turn four. When he woke up this morning he told me he was so happy he might cry. I love how big kid's birthdays are for them, even when you don't have a big party planned! Now if I can just get him to wait till Dad gets home to open presents...

Don't they grow up so fast. I hope time slows down a bit. I can't believe Courtney will start kindergarton this year and then Grant starts next year. What will life be with both of them in school all day? (My kindergarton is full day where I live!)

Busy Busy

Wow life with four is busy!! We had Katherine (Kate) on May 16, at 6:29 am. She was 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. We blessed her on June 5. A little young, but we wanted to do it in our ward before we moved the following Saturday. Adam's office is moving from downtown LA to Pasadena so we moved north of LA to La Crescenta. So we have been busy! My mom flew in when Kate was born for a week, then Adam's mom came for a week, then my mom came back for two weeks to help with the move, then Tangi's family came. They left yesterday and Adam's mom is coming today! Hence the no posting :) But I think we are settled, getting into a routine and enjoying the new house and baby! Oh yea, and Ashley had a birthday and turned 2 the day we moved!

Boulders

Adam's grandpa took us and Adam's other pregnant cousin away for a weekend in Carefree, AZ. We went to a resort and did absolutely nothing. We ate a ton, went shopping and to a movie, got maternity massages, and hung out at the pool. It was a great get-a-way three weeks before the baby is born!

Easter

We were out-of-town for Easter weekend, but my mom did a great job with the kids. She colored eggs with them, played Easter bunny, and took them to church.

The kids coloring eggs. Then they added faces.

Ashley even sorted them according to color, which I didn't realize she could do :)

Grant was afraid of the Easter Bunny coming into his room so they left a note on the door and he left Grant's basket in the hall.

Happy Anniversary

Adam and I had our sixth anniversary. My little sister flew in and watched our kids while we went out for an entire 24 hours! We went to an outdoor mall, to our favorite Mexican restaurant and then to our hotel on the beach. They even upgraded us for our anniversary and put strawberries in our room ;) We enjoyed walking on the beach, watching movies late, and the best part: Sleeping in until 8:30!!

I made this heart shaped cake out by baking cake in a square and round cake pan then cutting the round in half and adding it to two corners of the square :)
