California Trip (Oct. 13th-23rd 2011)

                                                                                           
             So a few weeks ago My dads side of the family went to California for a "family reunion". We were going to fly there, but when the tickets were On sale my mom told my dad to wait to but the next day they weren't on sale any more so we drove to Vegas and stayed the night and then we drove to my aunt and Uncles house in Rancho Cucamonga, California and stayed there for a night. then we left the next afternoon and got there at 3:00. It was soooo fun to see all my cousins\family who live in Utah! We spent most of the time out side, but twice we went to a public beach that was down by the peer, because our beach was a little rocky, but the beach by the peer was really sandy, and shallow no matter how far you went out, it was great for boogie boarding, which by the way was SUPER fun! We went there once to check it out and we spent like an hour just boogie boarding, then the next day we spent the whole day there, and Gracie (my cousin) tried surfing, and she was really good! I was going to try surfing, but I chickened out, so I just rocked the boogie board :). Then we drove home and found out that Fall had come while we were in Cali. haha we kinda freaked out ;)

                                                   And this was our amazing beach house :) We slept up on the roof one night then we slept on that deck on the second floor, then we just slept inside on the family room floor with all the cousins.

Our beach was kinda rocky, but at around 12-3 it was pretty sandy :)

This is Gabi My awesome cousin!

So one night my Nana gathered all the cousins and we made duct tape creations! As you can see Oliver, and Will made duct tape cell phones. Most of the girls made flower pens, and we tried to make wallets, but it didn't work to well. And then the next day All the girls did manicures, and pedicures, it was so fun we had glow in the dark nail polish, nail polish that changed color in the sun, and crackle nail polish, the crackle nail polish was my favorite. I used black crackle over white on my fingers and on my toes.

What is it with kids digging holes on the beach? :)

haha we would have contests who could jump over the hole, or hole could make the quietest jump, or could jump the funniest.

                                       Ok so me and Landon were wearing our nerd glasses, (that don't have lenses), and we were eating those yummy peach ring things, and he put them in his glasses! haha luv ya Landon!

     The hot springs, and old faithful were sooooo cool! The only downside to
the hot springs were that the sulphur stunk really, really bad!

                                                               

The buffalo were really cool. We came across a valley kind of thing and there were dozens of buffalo! We started to drive down the road along the valley, and we saw that there were like 10 buffalo standing RIGHT next to the road, and then two of them charged at these cars that were only like five ahead of us! It was really scary!

So a few weeks ago my family and all of my dads side of the family went to our cousins house to have a pool party in their new pool! It was sooo much fun, I can't wait till I can go in the water with out plugging my nose ;).

Jason came down and spent the weekend with us, and that's why we decided to go shooting. I kinda almost wish we didn't go because it was freezing cold and windy. on the bright side, before we went shooting Landon and I got to split and Idaho burrito!!! It was Delicious! But even before that we spent like half an hour at the gun shop debating on whether Landon should send in his gun to get fixed or not to, and then we spent like another half an hour there debating whether or not if my dad should but the "golden boy 22 "

well Landon DID send his gun in to get fixed, and my dad DID but the 22 golden boy!

Saint Patricks day!

the Leprechaun left some foot prints on our kitchen counter!

when I came home from school my mom had made a wonderful green dinner! Everything was as green and Delicious a can be!!!

we could all do with some healthy.....

....ummmmm well until the cupcakes arrive!

I know it looks absolutely..... well weird, but it was the most heavenly gravy in the world, it perfected the potatoes, with the chicken, peas, and flavor!

once again MORE HEALTHY!

My mom told us when we got home from school that she thinks the leprechaun left a treat somewhere for us in the house, so we searched, and searched, and then we looked in the down stairs guestroom and all over the bed was chocolate coins, and on a red stool to the right was a bag of sour skittles for each of us!!!!!!! -thanks Mr. Leprechaun
