birthday celebrations – 4 day weekend :)

Part 1: Ruby Tuesday family dinner NOMNOM!

Part 2: OCEAN PARK adventure day! 🙂
Haven’t been in 5yrs I think? Got in for free on my birthday with EC! thanks for going with mee hehe
When I went last time there was still 2 exits I think haha its been so long.. they have a few new exhibits like the one below – the Aquarium!! which I feel like they had before but that could be me mixing it up with Marine Land haha. We went on a very nice day actually, bits of sunshine and nice breeze along the way. Very exhausting though cause we kept getting lost so we had to walk up & down on hill a few times haha. Saw quite a number of animals (my fav: the jellyfish house!!) and went on all the kiddy rides hahaha yesss I even got EC to go on the merry-go-round MUAHAHAHA he got a mosquito bite while riding.. oops sorry! hahaha We were quite luckythat day cause 2 rides broke down hehe thats why its not safe to go on adult rides =p

then off to CWB for traditional korean food yummm! (why is korean food so expensive in hk? esp in CWB? sigh) Also trekked down to the park and enjoyed some mid-autumn festival displays since it was only a day away 🙂 
(which I realized I didnt upload the photos yet… )

To end off the night… must go eat dessert at Auntie Sweetie kekekeke black sesame tofu sago yummm!

oh by the way…  this grandma on the mtr decided to give me a big fat birthday present this year…

At first I thoughtit was nothing but later on in the day it turned out to be a huge bruise. This pic was taken 2 days later so its not as purple-y!

Part 3: Mid-Autumn Festival Day
Sticking this in here as well haha Nothing much happened? Went to hospital to visit my aunt. glad she is feeling a bit better these days. Then off to do some shopping. Failed though! Dinner with the family (again!) haha ate tons of snowy moon cakes!! yummmm. Went downstairs to enjoy the festivities but all I saw was 2 kids playing around haha so instead played on some grandma exercise machines hahaha

Part 500: Getting Old
Its a sign I’m olldddddddd… woke up before 10am everyday during my 4 day weekend boo! So exhausted by the end of Tuesday but then Wednesday was work again and then 2 days later DISNEYLAND!! kek

Year end review

I’m really doing this for myself because things have been quite different this year… and seeing MSOAN being broadcasted on TV reminds me of how last winter i’d curl up in bed watching it all day complaining how cold it is and pretty much not doing anything else in life…

  • getting a job: well after 6 months of searching and slacking around CHECK! big company yet small office, decent pay, annoying at times but no OT. Not too bad for 1st job? i guess so.
  • family time: overboard!! and now we annoy each other… not that we didn’t before but more now and  there’s always at least one argument every day….  haha
  • my plans to tour the world? made some progress! went to Shanghai (again), London and Taiwan. Next year? Japan and maybe Korea but still in planning/wishing stage
  • meeting people/expanding friendship network: fail. haha unless you count co-workers then i’ve done a bit! 
  • ______: BLANK. thank you but if i could i’d evil glare at you
  • gain wealth:  im saving money now and thank you HKSAR govrt for the $6000 haha but then again im not too sure.. .those group deal/discounts are destroying me
  • maintain health:  im not sure. haven’t been sicksick this year except for the odd headache here and there. did gain weight so i guess didn’t really maintain health

next year? hmm this would be like doing new years resolutions eh? i shall not call it that cause i suck at them =p but i am seriously thinking of…

  1. attending school… not that school! but maybe something in HK or a course offered at our uni… haven’t figured it out yet mainly beause i have no direction
  2. continuing my tour of the world.. keke and visit somewhere because i miss people.
  3. well of course _________ but we’ll see.
  4. and MAYBE get a dog haha yes my whole family wants one! except for my parents hahaha but it might happen it might!!
