At my job at the school district, one of my duties is to create videos — promotional stuff, professional development, highlight reels — that sort of thing.

I’ve been redoing the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner’s classified ad Web site. Like all newspapers, the News-Miner has been hurt by Craig’s List. The paper is hoping with the new classifieds site to at least lure some of those people back.

The Thermometer on our front porch this afternoon...I'm not making this up...
Our extended cold snap has abruptly ended and we’re now seeing temperatures above freezing.
That’s right, from 45 below zero to 40 above zero within a day or so.
It’s nice…I won’t deny it…
