As usual, there will be no December FTX.  However, there is a good possibility of a short notice FTF meeting at a yet to be determined location and time.  It has been a rough year and improvement anytime soon isn’t very likely.  After eight years of skirting the Obama administration though, how bad can it be?

So spend time with your kith and kin this month.  Next year, all this electricity, hot food, and english speaking radio and tv could be just a happy memory for the many of us in the gulags.  Print out whatever you have on those piles of CD’s and SmartPhones.  You never have to reboot a piece of paper or charge it’s batteries.  Read up on Samizdat.  Looks like Santa Claus is taking some time off, too.

If there is any good news, it is that we are moving to a new website at the first of the year.  One with a little less “Mother-may-I” from Google and all the other social media hooks that are not intentionally used here, yet have to be considered and satisfied.  How many websites and social media accounts can you name that were canceled and de-platformed over the past year for “Bad-Think”?

October FTX will commence at 0900 on the 24th and dismiss at 1600 on the 25th. Teams 2 and 3 will occupy Training Area North while Teams 1 and 4 will occupy Training Area South. Items for discussion will be Knife Sharpeners for Field Use and Fire Starters. Nothing beats a sharp knife and those “accidental cuts” are easier to stitch up. And playing with fire can be fun, right?  The Aerographer projects cooler than normal weather for the weekend with a high near 70 with an over-night low of 48.

There are now less than 30 days till the 2020 General Elections and that means you have less than 30 days to finalize preparations for when “Non-Permissive Area” describes your usual haunts.

Can’t call what November will bring other than chaos like we’ve never seen before. All the practice we’ve done over the past several years should give us a leg up on the learning curve. We have made preparations and gamed out several scenarios. The waiting is the hardest part.

I have told family for years that I fear what is coming not for what the left will do but for what I have always known I am capable of. I always called it being in touch with my inner nazi. Not politics or ideology but in sheer brutality. I pray for a miracle that I do not expect, I pray more for my soul.

Some items to note:

There is a very sturdy QRP HF radio made by Lab599.  The discovery TC500, sold on Ham Radio Outlet  for around $800.  Will push 10 watts and made with a one-piece chassis with water resistant controls, connectors,  and shell.  Just right to deploy into the field and power with that good roll-up solar panel and operate NVIS.  Digital is your friend.

September FTX will commence at 0900 on the 26th and dismiss at 1600 on the 27th. Teams 3 and 4 will occupy Training Area North while Teams 1 and 2 will occupy Training Area South. Items for discussion will be Common Knot Tying and Dead-Fall Traps. Maybe this time we won’t catch a lot of lizards like the last time. Crunchy and nutritious when roasted just the same. The Aerographer projects cooler than normal weather for the weekend with a high of 75 and over-night low of 58. “Unless we have a hurricane swing thru”. Weathermen are notorious for hedging their bets.

The seasonal chore of Trail Maintenance and Trail Camera Checks is at the top of the list again. There is a list of GPS locations for each at Training Area North and South along with a box of SD Cards and a bushel basket of batteries to be swapped out. We can scan thru the pictures for anything of particular note Sunday morning. Recommendations for new camera locations can be passed on thru the team leaders to the XO for consideration.

Updates to the Communications SOI and Frequency List will also be distributed for immediate use during FTX.

There are now less than 60 days till the 2020 General Elections and that means you have less than 60 days to finalize preparations for when “Non-Permissive Area” describes your usual haunts.  The looting and burning,  that will begin in earnest before Halloween and continue after the elections, might be confined to the larger cities.  But depending on the poor planning by the local commies, it could start up even around here.  So now would be a good time to scout around for good parking spots downtown in these parts and make a few practice runs before hand.

As of 1SEPT, the State Board of Elections website has posted sample ballots. Another thing that now requires permission of a Google Javascript in your browser to complete. And Google is not your friend.

One Stop Early Voting runs 15 – 31 OCT and local sites in each county can be found here.  With the very high probability that this election will run into overtime and be decided by lawyers after going through the wringer of the Court system several times, the one thing that will probably withstand all the contention will be the actual votes cast in person, so it is very important to make sure you go and vote in person. If you can go to Walmart, you can go to a polling place. Same rules, same lines. All the other permutations of mail-in votes and all the boxes of “found at the last minute in somebodies trunk and uncounted ballots” up to two weeks after Election Day will be up for grabs. And the State Court just approved a measure to count ballots postmarked by Election Day, but received up to 9 days later, to enable voters who can’t properly fill out an absentee ballot to correct any errors. Never had this option before. But Governor Cooper is pleased with this decision.

Maybe you’ll think about voting some of those weasely politicians out of office while the voting option is still on the table. Depending on the outcome of the 2020 Elections, voting may become just another wild and crazy story to tell the grand-children on the walk back to the favelas from a day in the bread lines in the city.

Might be time to think about heading to your secondary positions early.

JULY FTX will commence at 0900L on the 25th and dismiss at 1600L on the 26th.  Teams 3 and 2 will occupy Training Area North while Teams 1 and 4 will occupy Training Area South.  There is the seasonal task of trail maintenance still pending at Training Area North that needs finishing up, even if it rains again this time.   Training will include briefings on using the many local seasonal creeks as a water source and making a fish trap.  Also some assorted camouflage patterns for use in heavy woodland areas will be proposed for adoption.

The twisted course of current events is both complex and stupidly simple, and rather than attempt an all-inclusive summary, let this short version be your guide moving forward for the next eight to twelve months. Whatever you want to call them, the Leftists, Progressives, Democrats, Socialists, Communists, are actively pushing their plans for America, and YOU, at an accelerated pace. You might say they are probing to find where that line is to intentionally kick off Civil War Two. Over the past 50 years they have managed to put everything in place, one little piece at a time so you didn’t notice or protest too much when you did notice. There was a plan all along, and at this time on their time-line, they no longer need to hide their agenda. They have replaced classic values of the culture of western civilization historically taught for the past 400 years that was the foundation of the education for young minds, with a complete slate of amazingly and blatantly wrong ideas that can only hold water in the alternate universe they are going to force you to live in. Any hold-outs not willing to walk Zombie like in lock-step with those plans can now be called names, publicly shamed, cut-off from the financial world, isolated and silenced from telling anyone else what they see happening, and sometimes losing their jobs and homes. YOU are being erased and removed from history in favor to their new ideals. YOU will not be left alone to pursue your individual choices in life, but rather made an outcast for even attempting it. Many businesses, maybe even your employer, have been black-mailed into becoming signatories to their plans fearing they will suffer the same fate. The deck is now stacked against you.

The PLAN is to thoroughly erase the entire body of history and heritage known as Western Civilization and replace it with an alternate assortment of repackaged facts to lay the new foundation of their alternate universe. This will be facilitated by widespread fraud during the Presidential Elections in November, the contesting the results in the courts for an extended period of time into the next year, all the while legislatively accomplishing their wish list so there is no turning back whatever the outcome of the courts might be. And while they are rabidly busy with that, you will be living in COVID Lock-down Hell with a crumbling economy and no options to bend the stream of coming events you will disbelievingly witness.

And because Conservatives are an adaptable bunch and just want to be left alone to manage their own destiny as much as possible, they will let this “Big Broom” sweep them into the dust bin of faceless antiquity, one little bit at a time.

As a  deja vu historical point of reference, Neville Chamberlain tried to negotiate, several times, with a certain ambitious little man who claimed he really only needed a little more territory and resources for his people. Neville actually capitulated to those several demands hoping to avoid the regional conflict that would ensue by defending his own and other peoples inherent right to exist peaceably in their territories. His claim to fame is that those negotiations yielded “Peace in our lifetime”. That other guy said “It’s just a piece of paper. It means nothing.” We are once again at a very similar point in time.   You may suspect this will lead down that very same path.  You can research the extensive details of “World War Two” elsewhere. Just not in Public Schools or Colleges.

But indeed, we are at war. Here and Now. A Culture War is the inadequate yet popular term for it. The term doesn’t do justice to the actual workings of the Cultural War, nor describe the severity and finality of the stakes. YOU must take this War seriously because IT IS AIMED AT YOU PERSONALLY. Now is the time for YOU to figure out how to defend yourself during this War, and if you can’t do that yourself, find others that will band with you to make a defense. For there is no “Neville Chamberlain Solution” for this War.

YOU are completely surrounded. No one is coming to save YOU. But YOU have the enemy exactly where YOU want them. This is War. Or this is your extinction.

June FTX will commence at 0900L on the 20th and dismiss at 1600L on the 21st.  Teams 1 and 2 will occupy Training Area North while Teams 3 and 4 will occupy Training Area South.  Training will include briefings on local poisonous snakes, insects,  and plants.  All radios will be updated with the revised frequency list.

N.C. PATCON will be held at Dixieland on the 6th.  Details at Free North Carolina.  The Public Information Officer says the Webex meeting number is 126 990 2213 and the password is 739umX283Fj.  Online meeting begins about an hour before the first scheduled presentation to give folks time to resolve any connectivity issues.  Runs until 1630.  Of great importance is the Round Table discussion at 1300 with a special guest, and (hint, hint) that special guest will not be Ivor Hael himself.

There was a little snafu about the Memorial Day weekend race at Ace Speedway.  The Governor had a little snit on Tuesday morning after seeing pictures of the crowd there, and has since threatened if the local authorities can not enforce his edicts he will have to send in the State Police.  (You didn’t think he was actually interested in the race, did you?)

Turns out, the County had sent their proposal outlining how they would be complying with his edicts and he just never got round to reading it till much later – after his scolding press conference.  Seems the Governor is content to let his bigger cities burn and get looted, where his voter base is, by by golly, you WILL wear a mask and have social distancing out there in the county where there is essentially zero coronavirus.  Read the details from the County Commissioners website.

Executive Order #141 has one line about half-way down that says,  “The Stay at Home Order in Executive Order No. 138 is lifted.”  Along the way, in several places, it does repeatedly warn that if local authorities can’t enforce the guidelines outlined of the Executive Order, the State Police may have to move in to do that job.  Near the bottom, it does contain the line, “This Executive Order shall remain in effect through 5:00 pm on June 26, 2020”.  What happens at that time is anyone’s guess, as we’re in undefined territory after that.    There is a Phase 3, and a Phase 4, leading towards an undefined end state.  Does not include  “and then we’re back to normal with no restrictions like things used to be”.    And unless that is the clearly desired end state, then someone intends for us to live under some degree of restrictions,  under the promise of enforcement by State Police for non-compliance, for as long is it serves their purpose.  Any of you planning to vote in November?  This is the definition of “Martial Law Lite”.  When you’re making it up as you go along, without consulting the General Assembly that actually makes the laws, or the Counties, where the day-to-day lives of the little people trundle along, you could lose sight of your final destination.   The civility of those good people can be depended on to hold thru such abuses for just so long till someone says, “Go ahead.  Make my day”.  And you should know by now what “A Failure of Civility” is referring to.

In the midst of all the current festivities in those big cities, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro, to name a few, there has been increasing policing of the news that gets reported and on the social media outlets.  Of course, you are not shocked to notice this.  If the Minneapolis Police had intentionally killed a white man while he was resisting arrest, when they knew he had a history of violent breaking and entering, and robbery,  it would only have gotten a three line mention in the Minneapolis news papers a few days later.  Similar events have happened over the past ten years, and you have to do a little research to discover them.  All you have to do is randomly pick a big city with a population over 200,000 and start looking.  Just don’t get sidetracked with the stories of the mass shooters with emotional problems and on psychoactive medications.  Or the ones that claim to be from the “Aloha Snackbar”.

And part of the fall-out from the increased censorship, not by the government but by proxy social media, is the disappearance of the blogsite Western Rifle Shooters Association.  Hosted on WordPress, which has recently partnered with everyone’s good friend Google, the  site was removed without any warning or specifics, other than claiming violation of terms of service, the catch-all for “We don’t like what you’re saying so nobody will get to see what you’re saying”.    The most recent copy of the site that you can find on the internet wayback machine is 1538 27MAY, so if there might be items there that you always said you needed to get copies of, this is your last chance for now.  The good news is finding a new host these days is not that difficult.  And this site is currently looking into those options as well.

The second iteration of the Western Rifle Shooters Association (WRSA) blog, hosted by WordPress, was nuked today.

While it is a loss, it was a deliberate sacrifice of a player to increase situational awareness.

The Reds are on the move.

The prize is the former United States of America.

The Red cares not about race, except to the extent it can and is used to befog the naive about the Party’s real goals.

WRSA was, first and always, a freedom advocacy site.

It was shot out of the saddle today by an arm of the Communist enemy propaganda machine.

Their attack did not kill WRSA.

Nor did it kill a single one of its followers.

The totalitarian bastards really can’t stop the signal.

Take heart, not just in this tiny skirmish but in the overall struggle to save the West, from WRSA’s final masthead:

Might be a good time to point out, that Civil War 2 will be so different from what you expected and planned for, that you will not recognize it till you’re knee deep into it.  And there in  lies the lesson for today.

May FTX will commence at 0900 on the 23rd and dismiss at 1600 on the 24th.  Teams 2 and 3 will occupy Training Area North while Teams 1 and 4 will occupy Training Area South.  Items for discussion will include trail marking and signals for Area Perimeter Security.  And as you already know, Rule #1 is “Stay Off The Road”.

Some things to consider prior to FTX:

The Governor’s Executive Order has been extended to 8MAY, at which time those restrictions will be replaced by “Phase One” restrictions.  These new restrictions  read almost exactly like the old restrictions, but have the ring of things getting better to them so the capricious and unconstitutional restrictions won’t chafe your underwear so much.  Still functionally equivalent to the old restrictions, but put down your torches and pitch forks for now and give the man another inch of rope.  Read the new Royal Decree here.

Phase Two Restrictions kick in a few weeks later, for another few weeks, and then Phase Three Restrictions kick in “4 to 6 weeks” after the start of Phase Two.  Does that mean Phase Two is actually six weeks long?  Maybe.  As written there is nothing to follow Phase Three Restrictions, so perhaps as they are doing in F*ing California, there is really no “Phase Four” until there is a vaccine, and everyone is certified they’ve been vaccinated, with the notion that this will eliminate the threat of horrendous  loss of life due to the virus.  Is that possible?  Does that flu shot you get every year come with a 100% guarantee?

But the silver lining to this crisis is that thousands of kids are finally exploring the world of education without the progressive politics found in  the schools and enforced by the teachers.  Some kids may actually learn something for the first time in their lives, and hopefully discover the simplicity of math and science without all the bovine fecal matter foisted upon them by the Common Core Curriculum, which has ruined many a young person for life.  But then, that was the idea behind the whole curriculum to begin with, as the guy who came up with the scheme has admitted to.  When/if they return to school in the fall, it may look like this:

And don’t forget, there is still a very important election coming up in about 150 days.  Don’t let this “managed crisis” distract you from that, like they want it to.

April FTX will commence 0930 on the 25th and conclude 1600 on the 26th.  And because it’s important to stay on the Governor’s good side, Teams 1 and 3 will meet at Training Area North while Teams 2 and 4 will meet at Training Area South.  Never mind that he’s the same guy that tried to make us all felons back in 2009.  Yes, you can now wear masks in public.  See, it’s not all bad.

Items for discussion include water purification and operations in non-permissive environments, specifically urban operations, such as those are in the county population centers.  Not the “Post-SHTF shopping expedition to Charlotte” type of thing.  Besides, we’re still under  Executive Order 121 to Stay At Home.  And it’s important to stay on the Governor’s good side.

There are still special places open to pick up supplies, and the regular places such as grocery stores are beginning to have  more selection on the shelves as opposed to empty shelves.  If you need help with finding things you need, contact the Public Information Officer.  Supplies may become scarce later this summer if the Stay at Home Order is not lifted by 4JUL as the supply line is already experiencing shutdowns and production curtailments that will take a while to ramp back up once things try to get back to normal.  Just remember, that over-hyped $1200  government check is only an advance against your 2020 taxes and when 15APR2021 rolls around, they will want most of it back.  Nothing more than  a “Pacification Payment” so the rubes don’t feel they have to go out looting,  just yet.

As a forward looking recommendation, starting a garden by 1MAY  might be a wise use of your time and efforts.  We are lucky that gardening supplies have not been classified as “Non-Essential” and gardening has not been declared illegal as is the case in other states.

March FTX will commence at 1000 on the 21st and run thru 1600 on the 22nd at Training Area North.  This will be a Spring Gear Inspection.  Also there is some minor work yet to be finished at the Firing Range, meaning paint.

Items for discussion include  how to set up perimeter defenses and observation posts.

Something to consider adding to your inventory  of gear is the 14 inch Gransfors Bruks Wildlife Hatchet.  Just the right size to  help fetch those saplings when you’re building a shelter or punji trap,  or make practical size kindling for the campfire.  And as a last resort, it has the advantage of never needing to be reloaded whilst you’re decimating the Zombie Horde.  Admittedly, it is a bit pricey at $150, when the more common Eastwing Sportsman’s Axe can be had for $35 and in the Stainless Steel model, does double duty as a signaling device.

And just note for your personal security –  the manufactured crisis surrounding this coronavirus is setting up more big government as unprepared and desperate people, who can’t think for themselves,  are willing to endure being told once again to “shelter in place”.
