So…I’m Amanda Capper

Author of Mysterious, Surprising, and Occasionally Humorous Stories

Doorways, cemeteries, decrepit houses and staircases, these are a few of my favourite things. And dogs. Love dogs.

My novel, A Bother of Bodies, written as A.J. Capper, was published by Divertir Publishing in 2014. Since then I’ve concentrated on honing my craft, and at the same time publishing flash fiction and short stories.

Recently, Judy Penz Sheluck, best-selling author of novels, anthologies AND award winning non-fiction books, has accepted my short story, “A Time to Tell” for her latest compilation, Midnight Schemers and Daydream Believers, due out June, 2025. I’ll be sure to let you know when that comes on the market.

A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other.
