For Christmas, we gave the boys some time at Top Golf, so one of the gift cards expired the end of March, so this past Saturday, Ryan took the boys Saturday morning. They had a really fun time. I had wanted to take our family to the Lindon Temple Open house. This is the first open house I have been to in awhile that didn't have you make reservations. I knew going on a Saturday would be busy, but if you can't tell, there is A HUGE line that wrapped all around the building. We didn't plan on a long line, so struggled a little bit in heat and lack of water. But everyone endured and we got to go inside. It was very pretty of course, but there was SO many people you couldn't really stop and look at pictures more. The little daisy flowers in the celestial room huge room were gorgeous. I found out later that they are "lindon" flowers. That was fitting. Here we are about a third through the line. Overall, from when we parked and walked over and made it back to the car it was basically about 2 hours. So much longer than I planned. We went to in n out after and that was a forever long line as well. But it was a good experience. I think our kids, especially the boys, have started losing sight of how lucky we are to be so close to so many temples. Adeline has REALLY gotten into drawing Harry Potter characters. Here she is watching a guy show how to draw Hermione. She just recently finished book 2 and is getting close to being done with book 3. Liam golfing.

Adeline's first art show at the Art Cottage
Adeline had her first art show at the Art Cottage. I thought this was so cool of the studio to do it for all the art students. She got to choose two of her art works to display. Our whole family went to support her. Adeline didn't really want to go, but I told her this is YOUR chance to have all of our family come and support something YOU are doing. Here is her mountain picture. I love this one. And her other was her lilly pad frog one. I am so thankful for the Art Cottage and all the great experiences Adeline has had there. She has REALLY come far in her art. Cool mask from some of the older students.
St. Patrick's Day and Evelyn goes to OT therapy
Out of order pic finishing her obstacle course. The girls set up a TON of leprechaun traps. It was fun to see their creativity. And they did get some candy, but no trapping of the leprechaun.
Went and did OT with Emma. This time we did an obstacle course in trying to use whole body movement. These swings are really fun for her. Emma and I were talking so much about how far Evelyn has come. This "t-swing" was a little tricky.
It was a fun therapy time.

Liam's first track meet, Idaho Falls temple, Evelyn volleyball and other stuff
Out of order pic of Evelyn's most recent volleyball game. Liam is doing track this year. He is running the 100 and 200, or at the beginning of the season that is what he planned to run. Here was his first run at the 100.
He has had some problems with his hip, so he wasn't able to run the 200 this meet. But it's been a good experience so far. Adeline passed off all her multiplication facts so she got her big certificate. We went up to Idaho Falls over the weekend of March 14 and Evelyn REALLY wanted to go to the Idaho Falls Temple so we went Saturday afternoon. I love that she wants to go to the temple so much.More of Evelyn's great volleyball games. They did SO much better this round.
And she had some FANTASTIC bump hits. It was so fun to see her be getting better at hitting!

Evelyn starts doing underhand serves in volleyball
So this past Monday, Evelyn started doing underhand serves in volleyball for the first time. She still has to toss it with her left hand and serve it with her left hand. She was very excited though because she had several really strong serves this way, because she used her left hand. Their team last week struggled a little bit more, but this week they did much better.
I like this more "action" type shot.
I wish this could post videos of her new serve, but she had fun and felt like she did much better this time. And they won some close games!

Dress up week at school and Adeline earns an award from her classmates
Out of order pic of Adeline accepting her award. For Read/Dr Seuss week, they had crazy hair day. Usually we haven't ever done anything big, but this year Evelyn really got into it so I helped her with space buns and she colored her and Adeline's hair.
Then one of the days was dress up as your favorite book character. Can you tell who Adeline is? Hermione! And this is Evelyn (her face is part of the character she told me) of someone in her favorite book series Wilderlore. Adeline for the month of March was chosen by her classmates as someone that best did the "theme" of the month for the previous month, which for this month was making friends. I was so happy she earned an award from her peers, which she was VERY excited about!
And it was fun to see her be the first called up.
