Brendan and I are having fun at our Lake Pleasent field trip! Right now we are learning where to go we were the bobcat group...

we learned that a slight little jab from a tarantula moth hawk can paralize A WHOLE TARANTULA!! But the tarantula moth hawk takes it away and feeds it to its babies!! Brendan and I had so mch fun together meeting old friends!!

Valentines Day preparations

I am so amazed how seriously my oldest is taking this holiday. He first reminds me that he cant have a valentine until he is older, like his mom told him, and then he carefully reads the back of all the valentines boxes to make sure they say something appropriate for the girls, because he doesn't want to give them the wrong impression. He taught Nic that boys need the receive boy valentines and girls need to receive girl valentines so we shared boxes of Star Wars, Disney channel girls, and Littlest Pet Shop so that could happen. On one Valentine that said Best Friends, I noticed Zack corrected it by writing "not really" on the front. He makes me laugh on how much thought he puts into things!!

The new house

Darin finally convinced me that now is the time to buy a bigger house. It all happened so quick, we made an offer and within 6 weeks and lots of hold ups we were moving. We had planned on waiting until August so that we could do some work on the inside but we got renters quicker than expected so we moved. We lived downstairs for a week, with 4 mattresses on the floor, while Dar enclosed the loft for nicks room and the computer area. The kids, and lots of friends helped us paint and when the carpet came, we moved upstairs. Mom and dad came for the weekend and knocked out projects, Thanks again! Thanks Jared and Randy for the help. We are now living our lives but there is never a lazy moment... hopefully by Christmas we can relax. Oh wait in the spring we tackle the big backyard.. oh well.

Anyone is invited... and we wont make you work too hard!

Uncle Darin and Uncle Jared are corrupting Andrew mind. They are filling his head with nonsense about women's work and men's work. He sat down and informed me that this is mans work.... sitting down watching TV, eating popcorn...

But here is proof that Andrew does women's work. He is helping to make fruit leather to take to his non sunny California home.

We had a lazy day today. We started with the best donuts in the world.... Bosa Donuts!! Then Dar and i got stuff done to the house and the kids eagerly awaited the swim party. Darin ended up taking them because I had to pick someone up at the airport but when I got there they seemed to be having a great time!!
