Random November pics

I've decided a lot of my November pics are of my baby, but for good reason

I spend ALL day with this little munchkin and I have a camera near me at all times so when she is cute I document it!

She still snuggles a little!

 Mindy took the next two pictures! 

 She was SO happy to see Peanut the dog!

 She also decided to start folding her arms for family prayer!

 Quinn LOVED these jammies that we borrowed from the Hjorths!

 I tried to workout at home.

That didn't have the best results! 

First Snow

Quinn was not thrilled by the snow. 

I only half dressed her because the other kids were in school 

and I was just shoveling the driveway!

Then Reagan tried to make her like the snow.

She was still VERY unsure!

 Quinn mainly stayed on the shoveled paths! 

Jared even joined in on the snow fun!

He also somehow convinced Rea to stand under the tree while he shook it!

Payton had fun jumping off the big boulders into the snow!

 Then the neighbor kids came out.

These are such cute little kids! During the warmer months they would play soccer in our front yard!

 The snow didn't slow them down!

 I swear this year Mother Nature was set on snowing EVERY time Jared was out of town which left the shoveling up to me! 

Thanksgiving 2016

 This year we had Thanksgiving with the Bolens. 

I am so Thankful for cousins! 

They make some of the best friends!

I am thankful for my sister! 

I LOVE having both of them living so close to me!

We always have great time when we are together!

We tried dinner in the basement this year for more space!

I am so thankful for the relationships that we have with everyone!

 I am SO thankful for my kids! 

They push me to my limit(both for good and bad), but I love them more than anything!

 Most of all I am thankful for this little family of mine! 

Jared does so much for us, and I appreciate him daily! I love who we have all become!

I am grateful for this time of year and the time I get to reflect on all the things I am thankful for!

Friend Getaway!

I think Jared's favorite question asked by any of his friends would be:

"Do you guys want a cabin weekend?" asked by our friend Jennie Olsen!

Jared and I were really excited for another wonderful short friend getaway!

We all met in Heber again for dinner. 

Jared ordered the ribs and got a little more than he was expecting(but not complaining)!

 I was finally able to hold this little miracle baby Max! 

He was born at 23 weeks weighing only 430 grams(not even a pound) and 10" long.

He has been an amazing fighter and is growing strong!

 All of us that came this year!

The Fillmores, Terrys, Hjorths, Tolmans, Olsen(minus Tyler), and us!

 The next morning we took the ATV out for a spin!

 I even got to drive!

We LOVE when we get the chance to getaway from reality and be around friends! We had GREAT conversations, and had a great time!  Thanks again Jennie! Until next time!

Payton Turns 6!!!

 This cheeky little boy(with the help of his Dad), talked me into letting him open his birthday present a day early. His argument was that in Australia it was actually his birthday, and that IS where he was born! What a stinker!

 He was super happy with his new lego!

 The next day we celebrated his birthday with two parties.

Yes, you can call me crazy. We were just going to do a family party, but found out that none of his cousins around his age would be able to come. So we through together a last minute friend party too!

 The friends that could make it. Some from school, some from the neighborhood(old and new), and some cousin(sort-of)

 We played a matching game first, which ended up being fun!

Then we went outside for lego relay race.

 Came in and decorated cupcakes.

 Played pass the parcel. Then each kid got their own Lego(knockoff version).

 Then we had an hour break for a quick dinner, then family and friends came.

 Emma made a birthday punch board. 

She is always a one upper! ;)

 EVERYONE was happy with all the Legos Payton got. 

 Payton is such a happy little boy. I am still his favorite. He loves Legos, Minecraft, and anything boyish.  He isn't afraid to tell people that he is scared of the dark(funny kid).  I love this boy so much.  I tell him on a daily basis that he needs to stop growing! He is very active and loves to be wild.
