Haircut

Claire gave herself a haircut this summer. She said, "my family didn't take me to get one so I cut it". This from the girl who refused a haircut for months.

First camping trip

We took the kids camping for the first time in prep for our trip to California. It was a success.

California Trip

This is How the drive there went. The kids have both been potty trained before they were 2, but this was the first road trip since. It was an adventure. Noble had no problem going anywhere. Claire wouldn't even go at the rest stops.






When we finally got there we me JoJo and Papa Frankie at Sand Harbor at Lake Tahoe. It was gorgeous and the kids LOVED being out of the car.





We spent most of the rest of the time camping at Jenkinson Lake.












We wish we could have stayed longer. We drove home through the night. That was an adventure in itself, complete with a 3 am McDonalds run when the kids woke up "hungry".

Noble's Temple

Noble absolutely loves the Salt Lake Temple. About 6 months ago we were in Deseret Book and Noble stopped infront of a beautiful picture of the Salt Lake Temple and just stared at it for a second and then shouted, "My Temple!". Whenever we leave the "Tower" we have to drive past the temple. Last night we went and took pictures at temple square of the kids.

"Hiccups"

Mike was exercising a bit tonight. Noble had to join him, without a shirt because "I might get SO SWEATY!" He started with some "Hiccups".

Apparently they really wore him out!

Grandkids

 Charley and I finally got our kids together to snap a few photos of the three Shields grand kids for our Mom and Dad. Let's just say trying to get a 3 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old to all look at the same time is a lot harder than it looks. The above pic is the best we could do before we had a melt down by one kid or another.

 I love this one. It shows how they keep me entertained all day!

Noble loves seeing his cousin "Baby Liam". He won't be a baby for too much longer. Pretty soon they will be able to play together. I can't wait for that!

Tarzan

Noble had a sleepover at the ranch with Grandma Jane and Papa Jimbo, he came home loving "Tarzand"
