Image We had the oppertunity to get together with Ward's extended family. We have not see some of them in over 10 years. There were lots of pictures being taken to say the least. Ward's Uncle whose wife and children orginized the gathering was on cloud 9. He kept telling me how happy he was that we were all together in one spot. We had delicious food and lots of fun. TTFN!

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family. I did not get all of our Christmas cards out this year. Made huge improvement with that from the last two years though. Hopefully we will get them out to all of you next year. We had a great holiday season. We had gatherings with friends and family. The girls loved their visit from Santa and the fun gifts they got. Mostly though, we are very greatful for our savior. He is the reason for the season. We are also very greatful for our religon. May you all have a wonderful New Year.

Christmas is in the air

For whatever reason, I am really excited about Christmas this year. We have all the decor up and I am actually all most done shopping for the girls. I am hoping to have a nice mellow Christmas this year. Last year we had a gathering at my cousins house (which we will do again this year), and then on Christmas Day we had some of Ward's family over for breakfast. His parents ended up staying and playing the Wii for quite sometime. We stayed in our PJ's all day. I don't think we left the house until church on Sunday. It was so fun to be home and relaxing and having fun with the girls.

On the other hand as I set my site up for Christmas, I started thinking about the song playing. "I believe there are angels among us." I truly believe that there are Angels among us, not just those are in our life that we can see but those who are in our life that we can't see. Which brings me to the next point, I have lost many loved ones the last 5 years. I know they are watching over their loved ones as well.

I am also very grateful for those who touch our lives in the most simplest way. I have so many friends and loved ones that are there for me all the time. Of course as you all know I absolutely love our ward. I love how everyone loves you no matter what your situation is.

Well here I go rattling on now. I hope to post pics soon. TTFN

Lost No Longer!

During my hasty cleaning Friday night. Sara comes up and says "Mommy, weren't we looking for this?" Here she stands with my camera charger. I got so excited that Sara did not know quite what to do. Pretty soon she just started laughing. I still can't figure out how to get the pics from my phone to my computer. Now, the big question is if I can find the cord that goes to my camera. I still have a ton of things in boxes. TTFN!
PS cannot find the cord! Maybe next time.

Trouble

Ok, I cannot find my charger for my camera. I have looked high and low for it. I have pics on my phone but I cannot figure out how to get them from my phone to my computer. Anyway, the girls and I were lucky enough to get the flu or the swine flu or whatever you want to call it. We were not tested for them. Here is my thought. Why would I want to have something shoved up my nose? Just to tell me what I may already know. Anyway, none of us are high risk and we did just fine on our own. It was simply one day of a fever and about 5 days of major cold symptoms. We are still dealing with lingering symptoms but well on our way to normal living again. We are all moved into our home. So excited to have so much more room. Just getting the garage ready for the cars and then we will start to paint. We have had a busy week with Halloween parties and so on. Halloween just is not my fav. Oh well. I am done talking so randomly but tata for now.

Good Bye

Well, some who is dear to me passed away yesterday. She had a long fight with her health. One of my (Oregon) Aunts passed away. She was always so sweet. The things I remember of her are: Soft sweet smile, Acceptance of everyone, never leaving anyone out, always there to help, always loving and gentle. The one thing that has really touched me and will always mean a lot to me, is that her and all her sisters traveled from Oregon to Utah for my wedding. I wish I could attend her funeral but children and work keep me here. I know she is in a better place and is no longer suffering. I know I will see her again. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation. Till we meet again, I will miss you Suzie.

Moving

Image

Well, I will be busy packing this week. We were able to get a house in our ward. We are so excited. It seemed like all the Ward members pulled together. Whenever I saw any of them they would throw out different ideas about how we could stay. It was great. We love this neighborhood and this ward soooo much. We have been leasing homes since we sold our house in Spanish Fork, UT. We have lost each home and not due to our neglect or mistakes. This time though, things are very solid thanks to the owners and the help of a ward member. The house is a perfect fit for us and we absolutely love it. It is 2900 sq ft. (I think) and has the perfect layout, a great yard and it is not on a main street. I will miss my "backyard" neighbor but we are just around the corner. We will be moving next weekend. It seems that it is the perfect situation for many people all the way around. The Big play set is not there anymore but the big sand box is. We are very excited.

Life changes!!!

Well, as most of you know we may be moving again. Yep that is right AGAIN! We absolutely love where we are. Our ward is the best. We have been here less than a year and I can probably name just about every member in our ward. Some say they feel like we have always been here. I am so thankful for the love and support our ward and our neighbors give us. No matter what happens in our neighborhood our neighbors are right there to lend a hand, an ear or a shoulder. It is so awesome to see the service that everyone is so willing to give and with out asking. If they see something that needs to be done, they do it. I have really enjoyed this area. Our girls all have wonderful groups of friends. It turns out that our home is in foreclosure. We have been paying our monthly payment but the landlords are trying to re-negotiate the terms of the loan on this house. As a result the house is now in foreclosure. Please keep us in your prayers. We really want to stay in the ward. Anyone want to lend their yard? We could pitch a tent. LOL J/K!

I finally bought a new memory card for my camara. I have been taking pics with my phone but have yet to figure out how to get them from my phone to my computer. I am posting several pics. I also tooks some pics today of my Bro. and of the area that I am prepping for a garden for next year. I also have pics of Ward's trucks. He is taking parts from one that doesn't run and putting them on his truck. TTFN.

Happenings!

I would really love to post pics but my sweet daughter likes to try to figure out electronics and has some how messed up my card. We have been very busy since the last post. for starters, I ended up in the hospital with food poisoning from a local pool. Lesson learned, never eat a hot dog from a con sessions stand. I also ran/walked a 5k in Sandy with friends from work. I was pleased with myself for making it in 47 min. since I lost two weeks of training trying to recover from illness. I have also canned peaches for the first time ever and peach jam. Thanks to my friend!!! The girls are getting ready to start school, and we will have one last hoo raaa in Park City before cracking down on the home front. Tata for now.

Laugh Now or Never!!!

I know all of you love to see pics. I just have not had time to hook up the ole camera and load them up. Well I am here to announce that I am entering a 5K in about 3 weeks, with my friends from work. That makes it short for me to train. Which means I probably won't make good time and I will probably have to alternate between running and power walking, Ok maybe dragging myself to the finish line. I ran 1/4 of a mile tonight without stopping. That is a huge accomplishment. I have always wanted to be a runner and now that I am getting older I really want to get serious, that and I could stand to loose a ton of weight. So wish me luck.

Time away from the hectic scene of home!

We decided at the last minute to take a quick trip to Onterio Oregon to visit my Dad and his wife. We love to visit with them. Grandma always cooks the best meals. I was thinking we might get board. There isn't a lot to do here. As I sit here, I realize how much time I don't have for myself and my cute little girls and my husband. Being a working mom weather it is full-time or part-time is near impossible. I am not board one bit. We haven't done anything but spend time with our kids and family. Wow I miss out on a lot with my little girls. I miss them terribley when I am away. It is so nice just to be here with no worries from home. Peaceful and quiet.

So stay tuned. Hope everyone is having a great summer so far.

Happy Birthday Morgan

Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter. I am so grateful for Morgan and all that she is, all that she will become. She is so loving, kind, tender, caring, and sensitive to others. Morgan always helps me out whenever she can and very seldom asks for anything in return. She is an awsome friend to all, she is a great babysitter, daughter, and sister. She loves to serve others, and always wants to be friends with everyone. Morgan always talks about how she would help people in need if she could. She has a huge heart. She is a sweet young lady who has a strong testimony. I sit in awe these days to see how out going and confident she is. Morgan is very trustworthy and loyal. We love you Morgan!!!!

Morgan and her miss-haps!

Poor Morgan.....She seems to be attracting injury way to much. In March, she was at her friends house running down the hall and smacked her foot so hard on the cold air return vent that we had to get x-rays to make sure she had not broken her foot. On Friday night she was at her friends house with a ton of school mates playing night games in the road (which was fresh with rain water). As she ran across the street she managed to biff it badly. Enough to knock herself out and have several scrapes. One of her classmates was able to pick her up out of the road and get her to the grass till I could get there. She was only knocked out for a few min. But is fine now.

We have been very busy. I am posting some pics of my sweet Granny and my sweet Sara on their birthday. Both share the same day. We were able to spend their birthdays in California this year. We had a great time. Ward and I also have had a full weekend. We were escorts for our dear friends the Greenroos as they attended the temple for the first time and then were sealed to eachother and their children for eternity. What a wonderful experiance we were so lucky to be a part of. I wish I could spend more time with this post but short in sweet or I won't be able to get it done.

100th Post

We had a fun weekend. On Friday after work I decided to break up the winter blues. I took the girls to the Lehi Legacy Center. Wow what a place. There were several things to do there including but not limited to a gymnastics gym, a rock climbing wall, and an indoor pool. Which of course was where we were headed. We had a blast. The pool we spent our time in went from 1" to 3.6' deep. There was a huge play area in the middle of the pool and two slides. The water was a warm 90 degrees.
Saturday we spent a few hours in the yard cleaning up the billions of leafs we have in the yard. Saturday night I went to dinner at my Manager's house. Her husband made yummy Japanese food for us. We had a great time. Sunday the girls and I made cookies. We will be headed to California for a quicktrip to see my Grandma for her 95th Birthday. TaTa for now.

This is a pretty fun tag. If you are reading this, consider yourself tagged. Go to the place in your computer where you keep photos, open the fourth file, then choose the fourth picture to post on your blog and explain it. This could be really funny

This is a photo of a campfire that a friend of ours took while we were camping at Bryce Canyon.

Making Valentines Boxes

Image
Image
Image
Tonight for Family Night we worked on Valentine Boxes. Morgan and Hailey each had to make a box of some sort. Sara only had to fill out her Valentine's cards. So Ward and the girls and I cut, glued, taped, and wrapped for about 1 1/2 hr. We had a good time and the girls are quite excited about their boxes. Happy Valentine's to all. This year Ward and I are going to dinner at Magelby's for all you can eat Snow Crab. We have decided to go on Thurs. since the coupon we have can only be used
M-Th and NOT on Valentine's Day. That is fine by us though since it is bound to be slammed Friday and Saturday.
