Spiritual High
I had an amazing day at church today. I came home and announced that satin has been running our house the last 6 years and it is high time we change our ways, and get back to the spirit running our house. Our Bishopric spoke to us today in Sacrament mtg. Our Bishop asked us to recommit ourselves this new year. The talks were so amazing, I can hardly retell them. I fact, Ward was home sick. I told him he really missed out, and that I was on such a spiritual high that he'd have to wait till I had some quiet time to really re think and try to share with him. We had combined Priesthood and Relief Society. For those of you who are not LDS, we meet as a congregation, and then we go to Sunday school. After Sunday School, the women go to Relief Society, and the men go to Priesthood mtg. Today though, those two meetings were combined. we had a special speaker who was a Temple President in the Manti Utah Temple. All I can say is Wow. He was so insightful. He was a cute old man who made us laugh a lot but so so smart. I have to admit, I did pray before I got out of bed that I would be spiritually fed at church today. I am not going to lie....ever since I started working outside the home 5 years ago, sitting for 3 hr. at church is not my favorite thing to do sometimes. Sometimes when I feel down about going or maybe tempted to stay home, or sometimes if I have been to church several weeks in a row, things start to seem monotonous, I will pray to the Lord for the desire to go and to be the Daughter of God that I know I can be. Well let me tell you prayers are answered! Sometimes very, very quietly, sometimes very loudly. Today was loud, and I was filled with joy. TTFN!

Tragic
The news of today's shooting did not weigh heavy in my heart or mind when I first heard of it! It came across as a txt mg from KSL! Once Morgan came home and turned on the TV I was struck with sorrow! I had not realized the exact magnitude of what had happened earlier this morning! To top it off I found out that my sisters friends daughter had not been accounted for! It was so heart breaking! I have a habit of putting myself in others shoes and I was very saddened! We soon found that this particular little girl is indeed a victim! I will pray the families, and friends involved!
On a lighter note, Morgan is taking ASL as her foreign language ! She has picked it up really fast! She preformed a Christmas song for us. I love watching her! I hope to post it here if I can!
Also, Hailey sings in Girls Ensamble. She had a concert this week at school! They did really well! There were 3 students who passed out and one needed an ambulance! One boy fell off the stands and had a seizure , one boy locked his knees and got over heated! The other boy went outside and had seven seizures! The kids were told by other kids that he had 2 energy drinks, and 7 Mt. Dews that day. That is all hear say of course! Needless to say, we were all worried at first that there might be carbon monoxide or something going on!
Sara quit Dance this week. She felt overwhelmed. The time changed from last year and she went right after school! By the time we got home, she barely had time to do homework , & eat before bed. I'm was a little sad at first!

Woohooo
I am now able to access Blogger from my phone! I sold my windows phone and bought an older iPhone! I love it!
Ward went in for an ultrasound of his gallbladder . He has been having issues for a long time. The Tech can't tell what he sees of course but he said " nothing caught his eye!" So now we are concerned it may be ulcers in his throat or stomach. We will hear from the Dr. this week.
I'm going to try to post really random pics just to see if I can. Ok not sure how to comment on ea. pic. Sara got contacts and loves them. Then there is a pic of my silly Nephew and I . There is one of my Cat who just noticed the fish we've had for a yr. On a side note, he's never allowed on the counter. That must be why he just noticed. Finally a pic of Ward and some of our pets. It was really cold yesterday and every time we sat down, they were clbing on our laps. Ok TTFN

Just rambling
Life is just crazy sometimes. I have really slacked off on blogging because our computer died and my camara died. I have a difficult time posting pics to our blog. I guess you can say I get discouraged and just don't post anything.
We had some major family drama during Thanksgiving. It involved my Brother, his girlfriend, and my Morgan. Lets just say I have had to disconnect so that my Brother's Girlfriend would not leave him. I am using Facebook much less these days, and probably need to be blogging more anyway!!
Ward, the girls and I went to Ontario Oregon to spend Thanksgiving with My Dad and Step-Mom. We had a really nice time. Ward, Morgan, and I went out on Thanksgiving night to do some shopping. It is the first time we have really done the whole Thanksgiving/Black Friday shopping. We saved 300.00. We felt that our efforts were well worth the savings.
There seems to be a TON of anger in our household. I have decided that counseling might be a good opt. Hailey has learned some coping skills, and the girls seem to be trying a little harder. We are just getting started in this so I'll have to update as we go along.
It seems that due to the cost of updating, we have stopped renovations on our poor run down house. We hope to soon tear the bathroom apart. We had hoped to buy things one at a time and then once we have what we need, start the reno. Well, things don't always happen the way we plan, so we are patiently waiting.
Ward and I got new callings....I am the Assistant Camp Director, and Activity Day leader for the 8 yr olds. Ward is the Assistant Scout Leader to the 11yr olds. I may have already mention that though. Well, I have rambled enough. TTFN

Why the heck is my main pic on my blog so dang huge? We have been so busy...as always. I have a ton of pictures to post. We bought a house in Provo. Poor little house was so neglected. Ward has worked so hard on it. Really, I haven't done a whole lot. Work, Laundry, cleaning the house etc. But Ward, he has cleaned up both front and back yard, painted the whole house (well mostly), repaired things, and right now his latest, is actually art work. He has been putting gel stain on our doors, trim and baseboards. I call it art because he literally has painted plan smooth surfaces and they look like wood. I don't have a pic on my computer only on my phone. I will try to post pics asap. Mean while we both got new callings in our new ward. I am the assistant camp director. This is very fitting seeing as my oldest can't seem to go to girls camp with out sobbing to come home because she wants ME! Me? really is this the same girl that lashes out at me every second, tells me what to do etc. Really? What a bi-polar child. But today, this same child walked up to me in church and wrapped her arm around me. Wow!!! How lucky I felt. Anyway back on to the subject of callings, I also got called to be the 8 yr old Activity Day Leader. Wooohooo. When the Bishopric Member told me what they wanted me to do, I let out a Y E SSSSS! He laughed and said ok, I've never had that reaction. I have been in Primary for the better part of 12 years. I love those sweet cute kiddos, but I am so thrilled to be in R.S. on Sunday, and Sunday School. Girls Camp holds a special spot in my heart. I loved it as a youth. Now, on to Ward he was called to be the 11 yr old assistant Scout Leader. He's not as excited as me, but he is hopeful. LOL. Well, I have to get going now. I hope to catch up later. TTFN.

Visitors from Cali
I was born and raised in California. I still have a lot of friends and family in Cali. In 2009 I found a long lost friend. We had met when we were just 3 yrs old (I think). We met at ballet school. Well, I think it may have been tap dance. Anyway, our parents became good friends and we spent a lot of time together. As time went on, my parents ended up moving to Norco, CA. I rarely got to see my friend whose name is Jennifer by the way. The last time I had seen her was when we were around 12. As I mentioned, I found her on Facebook in 2009. She called me right away. We did a lot of catching up and staying in touch. Last summer in 2010, my girls and I went to Cali. We made arrangements to go see Jenny and her family. We had an amazing time. This summer I found out Jenny and her family were headed to Idaho for a family reunion. I jokingly said come see us. Guess what??? They did!!! We were like two little girls at Christmas. They came and stayed two nights with us. We had so much fun. My love for her and her family only grew stronger. My girls love her and her family, and our hubby's are a lot alike. A few things really amazed me. 1. Jenny has a Son who is Autistic. His name is Max. Max is 11 yrs old. He is the sweetest guy full of smiles and loves. He was such a pleasure to be around. But that is not what amazed me. What amazed me is the calmness that he had even being out of his own element. 2. The next thing that really made an impact on me was that they showed a love of the Lord, and never hesitated to give thanks. They are not LDS, how appriciative I was to have them not even think twice to publicly show their gratitude and love to our Father in Heaven. They are an amazing family how wonderful it is for our families to unite and instantly connect. We love you Roco, Jenny, Maxi, and baby Orneles. Jenny, Roco, and Max came on July 5th. On Friday we headed to Payson Lakes. My Bro. his main squeeze and their little Anderw were up there camping. Andrew is also Autistic. We wanted them to all meet. Of course Jenny knows by Bro. but how fun it was to introduce her to my Sis-in-law and little Drew. I have a connection with these little guys. I just love them so much. I also had a cute little guy in my primary class. I just love that kiddo too. these are special spirits from our Father in Heaven. TTFN
This is Jenny and I as kids.
This is Jenny and Roco and Max
These two? Well you know.
These are some wierdos
This is me and my Bro.! We were teasing each other.
This is Max at the lake
this is Andrew
How is it that time can pass so quickly? We have had a lot of fun lately. We stayed pretty low for July 4th because of all the fires here in UT. We BBQ with our friends family from Payson and instead of fireworks, we gave the kids glow sticks, and silly string. Prior to that, my friend sister set up a few crafts for the kids. she does a great job at that. Enjoy the pics. I love that the Daddy's are helping their girls with crafts.

Wow again so much time has passed since I have blogged. I am going to try to blog more often for those who do not have Facebook, and for my Step-Mom, because my Dad is not good at communicating our goings on.
School is out and we have reached some seriously hot days. We started summer out with a trip to Oregon for Josh and Staci Glasmann's wedding. It was such a beautiful event. We are happy to have Staci as part of The Glasmann Family. Shortly after we got back, Morgan got her permit. I have been a nervous wreck. She has been driving about a month now and is doing much better.
On June 18 Hailey started diving lessons at the local pool. She loves it. Sara started swimming lessons and is doing very well. Also in June we celebrated Mimi's Birthday (Mimi is my Brothers fiance). We all decided that none of us wanted to entertain and have a mess to clean up. So we ended up at the Spanish Fork Reservoir. We had a lot of fun.
For a while now, Morgan has had trouble with being nice to her loved ones. Mostly her Sisters, Mom, Dad, and Grandparents. We started seeing a counselor and found that Morgan is still mourning the loss of her Grandma Barbara (my Mom), and her Uncle Greg (Ward's Brother). They both passed away at the same time 8 years ago. Since we have been seeing the counselor, Morgan has been so kind, and loving to those she was being "mean" to. Morgan is generally a loving, kind, selfless person. It broke my heart to know that the root of her issues was being afraid to loose those she loves the most.
Hailey as we all know is such a tiny little Young Women. She weighs in at 56 lbs. and is around 4' 8". She has been on anxiety meds since she was 5. I recently took her to a D.O. (Doctor of Osteopath). She told me that if her anxiety isn't under control, then nothing will be (she has a tendency to have multiple tantrums that she cannot control). Her anxiety meds have been upped (ahhhh so nice), and she has been put on L-Glutimine. The L-Glutimine has amino acids and many other things to hopefully stimulate some growth. We'll keep ya'll posted on that.
We are still waiting to hear whether or not the sellers bank will accept the offer we made on the house in Provo. We are applying for a grant to help with a down payment. If we do not qualify, there is another program we can use. I'm thinking that if we use the second program, we may be able to live anywhere in Utah County. We really love the house we have chosen in Provo, so we'll just have to see.
I have a lot of pictures I want to post, so I will do that in a new post. I have to figure out how to get them from my phone to blogspot. TTFN

There is a light at the end of the tunnel
Finally after 6 years of renting, we are so close to buying a house I can taste it. Our credit score is looking good, our income is looking good. It's just a matter of paying down some very small credit cards, and we are there. We hopefully will be purchasing before the begining of the school year.
We have finally come to the conclusion that we can be happy without being house poor. We are planning on buying a house that is well BELOW our price range in hopes to finally beable to enjoy life. To do this, means it will be small, old, and need a lot of work. In 3 years our Morgan will be 18. I desparately hope she chooses to stay close by to attend school.
I would also like to report AGAIN how much I love my new postion at work. I should have done this right out of High School I so love it. Here are some FUN things we have done at work, suasage up the nose, sea shell in the ear, stitches several times to the face area and one huge v shaped cut on a knee. My favorite is weighing and masureing the newborns. It really makes me miss my girls as little ones. We have a ton of fun now. I am really excited for them to be big, but I know I will hate to be an empty nester.
Right now we are in Ontario Oregon. That is where my Dad lives. He is going in for Cateract Surgery. My Step-Mom doesn't want to drive 1 1/2 hrs home with a whinny man. LOL. I am so lucky to have the best Step-Mom ever. She loves us so much and loves my girls. I feel so blessed to have a husband who is always so willing to come up here and fix things around the house. He never even complains about it.
So, as the title reads "There is a light at the end of the tunnel" I feel like all of our hard work will finally pay off and we will be homeowners again soon. My best friend said "it's probably a train!" LOL NO NO it's not. I love her humor. TTFN

Sickness has taken over
Well, I have been sick with some virus or another since Feb. 12!!! I guess with the new position as an MA at work it comes with the territory. I am really counting on the fact that next "sick season" I will have built up a better immunity. I foolishly thought I had quiet the immunity as it is seeing as I was the first person they saw when the sicky's come into the office. But now, I am up close and personal with them. Taking temps, swabbing throats, wiping down the rooms, etc. I have had spit fly onto my face several times. At anyrate, I have had one heck of a problem with my sinus'. I get one day where I think I am starting to feel better (just need to gain energy),and B I N G O I am sick again. I am hoping to either get better or head to the Dr. on my next day off.
We have officially changed our Family Night to Sundays. It is near impossible for us to do it on Monday nights. Today we decided to take a ride up the Spanish Fork Canyon. We had a nice time, saw lots of Deer, and took a small hike. It was a lot of fun.
Recently we put Hailey on Vayvance. She has lost 2lbs.(we are working on getting her to eat more). The good news is that she brought her F in Pre-Algebra (which it has been all year). To a B!!! Yay Hailey!!!
Morgan turns 15 in 2 mo. She will be getting her drivers permit. Although Morgan is a great kid with straight A's, She is so mouthy. Very disrespectful to her siblings, parents, and other adults. I am at my wits end with this issue. I welcome all advice. Ready? Go!
Hailey Starts soccer this week and is so excited. She has her games on Wednesday nights. Great, I work every Wed. night, and Ward has to take Sara to dance. This just sucks! No nice way to put it.
Sara just finished two competitions for clogging. She won 7 1st place and 3 2nd place. I am so proud of her. She gets to compete in the nationals in May at Lagoon. TTFN

Happenings
Hello Blogging World....
We have been keeping busy here as usual. We've had illness, and work, and school. The girls are doing great. Morgan is starting registration for High School. She really wants to try out for Cheerleading....hello 640.00 in fees. That may not happen. Hailey is starting Soccer this month, and Sara has Clogging dance competition this month. She would love to attend BYU's Clogging camp this summer but we may not be able to send her this year.
I absolutely love my new position as an MA. It has been keeping me moving and I love it. This month we get to see Hunger Games at work. They rented out a theater and we are allowed to bring 1 guest. I am really excited.
Ward and I both had our 41st Bdays the last 2 mo. and our Sara turns 10 in March.
We are looking forward to purchasing a home in Sept. of this year. We have decided to buy as cheep as possible. We are really sick of purchasing at the top of our range and being house poor.
Well...TTFN PS below are our family pics. There are only 3 of them for now.

Well, not a whole lot has gone on since my last post. I thought I would do an update on my new position at work. I LOVE IT! I stay screaming busy. I love that too. There isn't anything I hate worse than not having enough to do at work. As a receptionist the last 5 years I sat on my duff and provided service to those who came in and those that called in. It was great. Super easy and I loved catching up and staying up to date with my co-workers. Which now I don't even have time to wave at them. Anyway, I went from 5 years of sitting to not even being able to think about sitting. By the time 4:00 pm comes, my hips, legs, and feet are killing me. Once I get home, well ask my girls I am in my recliner for 1/2 hr or so till my legs and hips stop aching. I am really out of shape. I've learned many things in the last 3 wks. How to scrape poop out of babies diapers and send off to the lab, Urine Analysis, gag kids with the swab to test for strep, weigh, measure, do a PKU and of course poke the legs of poor unsuspecting kids. Actually most of them cry the min. I call their names in the waiting room. I've witnessed wart removals, toe nail removals, cast applications, and circumcisions, I still need to observe a cast removals, spinal tap, stitches, and I am sure there are other things I haven't even thought of. So, like I said, I love it.
The family is doing great. Morgan saved her babysitting money and bought herself a laptop. She thinks I am mean for not bowing at her wants and serving her with a sliver platter of whatever she wants. Notice I said wants. I make my girls save their money, and if there is anything they WANT they have to buy it.
Hailey is doing great in 7th grade. She is a social butterfly and always has a ton of friends all the time. She will probably play spring soccer but we are still undetermined at this point.
Sara is loving her clogging class and will be competing in March. I am hoping to get her into the clogging camp at BYU.
Ward well same thing as always. Working his butt off, and serving his women. Today he baked cookies with Hailey. It was so fun to watch them. He also loves our primary class and as I, he gets good laughs from the things that little 4 yr olds say in class. One of my faves...Q: Why does Jesus want us to choose the right? A: I could smell hot dogs in my Mommy's tummy.
Well till next time. TTFN

New position at work
Why, O why is it so hard for me to update this blog...???!!!!!
Good News!!! I was offered a CNA Position with my current employer. I started on Tuesday. I love it. I stay really busy which is what I thrive on. I have been learning new things everyday. I have also poked a lot of cute kids with needles (their Immunizations) :(. Today I was able to watch the freezing of a plantar wart (very painful), and a circumcision :( ! It did not make me sick at all just sad for those poor little boys. Thankfully they won't remember it.
Today is my Birthday....I realized how much I love going to work on my Birthday. I got balloons, doughnuts, and Birthday wishes. When I got home, my girls made me a Happy Birthday banner and put it on the garage door. Then I got to go on a scavenger hunt to find a present from my Sara...2 movie tickets, and skittles. Morgan gave me a beautiful card and a cozy blanket and pillow. Hailey gave me a really cute card telling me how much she loves me with a Reese Peanutbutter Cup. My favorite! The girls also made me a cake, and Ward went out and got one of my favs...Pizza and bread sticks.
We had a fun Christmas with lots going on. Over all it was a lot of fun. We had Family at our house Christmas Day, and the Day after. We also had a lot of fun on New Years Eve...had a party at our friends house with lots of silly string, fire works, and yummy food.
Sara had her first two Clogging Performances in the month of Dec. she did great and decided to do compitition next year. TTFN
