I am writing today in order to file a complaint against Tom Harrington for his post on X regarding Wayne Gretzky not wearing his Order of Canada pin during the ‘4 Nations’ hockey tournament winner’s ceremony:
There is no mandte within the CBC to question any Canadian’s loyalties. What Tom Harrington posted must be deleted and apologized for by the CBC. Tom Harrington then be fired.
These types of personal attacks must never be tolerated by the CBC management and a strong message sent out to the rest of the employees at the CBC.
CBC reporter Kate McKenna told two lies about the Conservative Party during her one minute segment titled: “Conservative party leader holds Canada First event” Feb 15, 2025.
1) McKenna stated that the Conservative Party coopted the Liberal messaging “Canada First” from the Wilfred Laurier government of the day
2) McKenna stated that Pierre Poilievre just started talking about Canadian natiomnalism since Donald Trump became US President
Neither of these two statements are factual. Both are easily fact-checked yet she said them anyway.
Kate McKenna must be fired for lying to Canadains. Her producer should also be removed from working in the politcal news room.
1) We are supposed to believe that an activist (Christine Young) who uses a cane, walked around Ottawa in February and just happened to discover “white nationalist books”.
2) The activist in question is a federal govt-paid activist.
3) The book(s) title was never included in the story. Nor a photo of it.
4) The activist in question has boasted on X about putting “controversial books for teens” in her home. I have the screen shot.
This was obviously a publicity hoax yet the CBC reporter either played along with the hoax or didn’t do any background checking on the activist in question. Either way, Faith Greco must be fiired as does Greco’s editor who approved this fake story.
This has been a consistent problem with the CBC as we saw during the truckers protest where multiple fake stories were run by the CBC in order to smear the Trudeau protesters.
I am writing today in order to make an official complaint against CBC reporter Meera Bains for her unethical behaviour on the social media platform X.
1) She is using her personal account to politically attack BC Conservative leader john Rustad. No mention of her being a CBC reporter is listed on her personal account.
2) She calls BC Conservative supporters on X who objected to her personal attack on Rustad as “trolls”.
CBC’s journalistic standards strictly forbids this kind of social media behaviour:
Personal Use of Social Media
When we use social media, we should remember two of our principles: impartiality and integrity. We recognize there are specific challenges raised because social media create an intersection of personal and professional roles and identities.
With that in mind, our journalists – including casual and temporary staff as well as interns – should consider the following:
In our social media activity, we are mindful of our professional association with CBC.
We understand that should our social media activity create a perception of bias, it would influence decisions editorial leaders make on who can cover certain stories.
Meera Bains must be pulled off all BC political coverage and reprimanded for her behaviour on X.
It’s no wonder why Justin supporters are so dumbed down and clueless, with Justin’s water carrying clowns repeating his lies… You’d think that journalists would research Diagolon, or are they happy repeating lies?
I am writing you today in order to file a complaint regarding what Toronto Star columnists Althia Raj said during a panel segment with host Rosemary Barton.
During the discussion on Poilievre getting kicked out of the House for calling Trudeau a “whacko”, Raj said the following:
“We’ve seen that on door-knocks”
‘Door-knocking’ in political circles refers to political party canvassers going door-to-door.
In this case, Raj was either:
1) refering to what Liberal Party canvassers were being told at the homes of voters and that Justin Trudeau’s PMO gave her the talking-point
2) or that Raj herself was out campaigning for the Liberal Party
