I have no excuses to offer this time. I'm kinda embarrassed! Yes - it is WELL time for an update. So lets skip the chatter and get updated!
Brandon and I are living in Highland, currently in his old bedroom! Good thing he had his own bathroom and a big walk in closet for all my clothes and all his shoes :) We were hoping to be in our own house by now, but things have taken a rather sad turn. We may not be able to even look for another 6 months (sad face) so we will most likely stay here and save up until the banks want to give us a loan, the butts. A big shout out to my in laws, who have been so overly wonderful to us. Everything from eating their food to giving us our own space, they have been amazing and we are eternally grateful.
I really don't know where to start with the rest of this update, so much has happened! Well Brandon had his surgery (and we also cut off his hair!! Which he is now determined to grow back hahah) and he is recovering very well.
He is currently working at Questar Gas as a collector. We hope to get him in a different position whenever something opens up but we are both very happy for now!
I am working as a Cosmetology Instructor at Marinello and LOVE it! Maybe it's because I enjoy being in charge ;) who wouldn't right?? Below is a picture of me playing with my RIDICULOUSLY cute nephew who I get to babysit every week!
I am so sorry I don't have more photo's, my phone wont connect to the computer at this time. Lame sauce.
Well I know this isn't much but if I keep going this will be an incredibly long post! And I swear it won't be 5 more months before I post again!!!
Love,
Katie and Brandon

Hunger Games
Who hasn't been waiting anxiously for the Hunger Games?? My work is awesome and they actually got us tickets to the Friday night show, and so I got to take Brandon and another couple to the movie!
The day it came out, the movie theater held a "Reaping Day" out in the parking lot. They had 12 districts and everything, it was great! Fantastic Sams was the "Capitol" and we were putting fun glitter strands in people's hair and did the "Katniss Braid". I wasn't sure if I could do it or not...thank goodness I have a husband to practice on, right? :D
I was one of the few girls who could do a 'decent' french braid, so I kid you not - I ended up doing about 50 in a 4 hour period. It was hot and sweaty but man was it fun! Here are a few pictures.
This chick was walking around as "Effie" and her accent was awesome, she wouldn't get out of Character for anything! She had that capitol style and I felt pretty grungy next to her after workin in the sun for so long!
We made another quick trip north this week, and Brandon was able to hang out with our little nephew Nick!
It's crazy how tiny he looks on Brandon's chest.
Brandon and I went to one of Danny's baseball games (we are so looking forward to getting up there to be at more of his games!) and it was cold!
My sweetheart of a husband held my feet the whole time so my toes wouldn't fall off, seeing as how I turned up to the game in my St. George clothes...
I love this guy ;)
Check me out, blogging before a whole two months are up! Catch ya next time!
XOXO

Still Alive!
Yes, I'm rather embarrassed to be blogging right now, I am in shock how long it has been. Needless to say I am a slacker and things have been craziness!
So a few updates, lets do pictures shall we? ;)
First off - Brandon and I are officially moving! We are moving up to Highland at the beginning of May! I am seriously going to miss being so close to my parents and my amazing St. George sun, but we are thrilled to be so close to our other family! I cannot wait to get up there - (shout out to Cheronne, we are gonna be blowing some serious mulah on shopping and pedicures!) and I am so thrilled to be close to my sisters (well Jane is leaving us but we get her and Jeff for a little while) and to actually have some of my dearest, greatest and oldest friends to spend time with! Unfortunately I think I will be taking a break from doing hair, I need a little time away from the salon for now. So here is a shout out to my incredible fantastic ladies! And most of all to MICK - I love you and we will be friends forever or suntheen ;)
I had a fabulous trip to Vegas with my Chicas from High School! Loved every minute of it! And I got to meet the Beibs!
Pretty realistic, huh? I also met George Clooney, Michael Jordan, Snoop Dog, Fergie Ferg and Will Smith and all them, but I'm too lazy to update a bunch of wax figures...
Other notes :
Brandon is preparing for another shoulder surgery..possibly. We will know more tomorrow. Hopefully we will get his body back in shape and get my hubby feeling good again!
And as you all know I am sure, I have a new baby nephew!! He is perfect and wonderful and makes everyone who holds him want one of their own! Please visit Abbie's blog for pictures, she has the best ones :) I finally got to meet him just yesterday and cannot wait to get up there and be with him so much more!
I apologize again for the delay in blogging! I will make an attempt to be better...(snort)...anyway, we love you all! May you enjoy this fabulous summer we have coming up!!!
Love,
Katie and Brandon

No more football....
I still can't wrap my head around the fact that we are done with football....at least college football. It still blows my mind. Well, our last game was at Northern Arizona, me and my in laws drove 5 hours (it was 8 hours for them) to Flagstaff, and thank heavens the game was played in a dome, because it was incredibly COLD! What a fabulous game and great way to end the season!
Now, just for fun, I found a bunch of random pictures on my camera that I thought I'd unload and put on the blog :

I will be sure to update again soon....ha, ya right. How often do I actually follow through with that statement?
We ended up winning by 3, and like I said, it was a great game!
Brandon's last game! Here with most of the Offensive Line. Showerhammer, Brock, Brackus, Gavin, Brandon, Devin and Russ.
Me and Russ's wife are the only two wives on the whole offensive line! We LOVE these boys!

I did not update my blog back in September with this...kind of had a lot going on. But I have been thinking about my Grandpa quite a bit lately. He passed away a few months ago, and I have to admit, it was absolutely one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. In so many ways I am jealous of him though, he knows everything now, he understands so much more than I can, and I know that he is up there with my future kids, so they will get to know their great-grandpa. At his funeral, I lead the music. During the closing hymn, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" - I cried so hard I couldn't read the music. But I know Grandpa is up there, he's making sure I don't forget my place and that I make it up there with my family someday...
I don't think I could ever be too old to sit on Grandpa's lap. No matter how big I get :)
I will be sure to update again soon....ha, ya right. How often do I actually follow through with that statement?

T-Bird Football
Only two more games left in the season! We've had some very tough losses this year, of the 4 games we've lost, it's been a loss of a total of 16 points. That is ROUGH. 16 points from being undefeated. But we are still enjoying season! Brandon's arm is looking much better, and he is playing, but it is still causing pain, and us Beddes' have pretty much turned into pharmacists with all our drugs!
Kinzie Bug and Brayden supporting their Uncle Brandon!
Even Baby Scotty showed his TBird spirit!
This is how Brandon comes home everyday after practice & games.

This week is Bye week, so no game...but next Saturday is Northern Iowa and then Northern Arizona. Two tough games! Two weeks ago we beat Weber 35 - 28 and just this last Saturday we beat UC Davis 34 - 3 and that was our last home game. The last home game I will ever watch Brandon play in College...yes, I cried. Not ashamed to admit it.
We are doing well and hope you all are too!!!

Ouch!
Ouch to a few things. First - we've had two games with very hard, bitter 'almosttherebutjustbarelymissedit' loses. Hard to watch, and even harder to watch your Hubby go through. I decided my kids can't play sports, because I can barely stand to watch Brandon play and get hurst or lose. The thought of watching my children play....too much. I've also decided that the second coming needs to happen before our kids turn into teenagers. To think about what the world will be like then...that is the scariest of all.
The second and worst ouch is Brandon's arm. He came home from pracice on Thursday and was saying that his bicep hurt. It looked like he was on steriods, his bicep was huge! He still played on Saturday and came home late at night in lots of pain. He had pulled himself out of the game in the 4th quarter because he couldn't play. By Sunday morning, this is what his arm looked like.
It looks much worse than that now. The bruising has spread into his hands and up into his armpit. I hate this part of football. Brandon did travel with the team this weekend, but he hopefully won't play unless absolutely necesary. We had it looked at and he has a tear in his bicep. Good news, we don't need surgery. Bad news, it's a friggin tear in his bicep.
On a happier note, I realized that I have had my cosmetology license for 2 years now! Woohoo!! Here are pictures at my graduation.
I love my job and what I do!
Wishing you all the best, we love and miss you all!

Lotta updates
No excuses - craziness has prevented the blogging experience. I hang my head in shame. Let us do pictures to catch us all up!
Brandon's hair is VERY long. Love ittt!
*Funny note - this picture was taken when we were on our way to the temple. I wasn't sure if they were going to let us in with his hair! Mom said to just tell them Brandon was filming a church movie…that would explain his hair and beard!
If you go past the stadium you will see a massive picture of Brandon Beddes!!!
The adorable lady who took the pictures for the football banner (I'm terrible..I can't remember her name...) made me this poster - I LOVE IT!
Football season has been great! First game was against South Dakota State and we lost by ONE point! Major bummer, we went for the two point conversion and didn't make it. But it was a fabulous game!
We then played Sacramento State at home. SAC State had just beaten Oregon State the week before, but we came out with a score of SUU 35 - SAC 14! GREAT GAME!
The next week we played Texas San Antonio and won yet again! I forgot to take a picture of the scoreboard at the end of the game! But the final score was SUU 45 UTSA 22. Another fabulous game!

Brandon is on the far left - closest to where I'm standing taking the picture.

As embarassed as Brandon is - I am TOTALLY going to frame this.

Doesn't he look like an NFL player in his skull cap? I'm totally diggin it... :)

I couldn't find my SUU sweatshirt, so I supported our old team - AF Cavemen!
These are my boys. I just love my Offensive Line!
Big D deserves a special shout out. We love you D.
This is my adorable niece - Baby Abby. Whenever people tell me how cute she is, I claim her as mine.
Brandon's #1 fan - Brayden LOVES going to Uncle Brandon's football games!
This is me and my bestfriend/sisterinlaw Cheronne being a couple of goobers - we were taking pictures and sticking our necks out in order to cancel out any chance of double chins! Unfortunately we kept laughin and the chins just kept appearing. Ah well, we had fun doing it!
Okay, last weekend we played UNLV - and if you didn't get to watch it you totally missed out....best game of the year! I will brag - because I am so proud of my hubby, and the whole team! Final score SUU 41 UNLV 16. WOOOOHOOOO!!!
WOOHOOOO!!! GO T-BIRDS!
This was such a good game :) SO HAPPY!
Randy (dad), Randy (brother), Brandon and Ben. Some BIG Beddes boys!
Well - I promise to be better at keeping this thing updated! (I know, we've all heard that before, right?) Tommorrow we play North Dakota at home! Last year we beat them in North Dakota, so let's hope for another win! GO TBIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Love to you all!!
