Lately I’ve been getting lazy, waiting to travel somewhere outside of New York to capture images. In Queens, right under your nose, all you have to do is travel a mile in any direction and you’ll be transported to another country. Yesterday was a balmy (for mid-December) wet one that afforded a good look at life on and around Main Street. Walking these streets, you can imagine what life might be like in China without ever having traveled there. This borough is a place I sometimes take for granted, and definitely shouldn’t.

Better luck next year
