Atopor Shabdayan is a literary, cultural and artistic initiative that presents poetry in innovative visual formats. The Dhaka-based organisation has also launched activities under its Shabdayan Poetry Platform, taking a distinctive approach to poetry recitation and presentation. In line with this, Atopor Shabdayan has taken the initiative of bringing Bangla poetry to the international stage.
Poet Jubair Shawan, Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) of Atopor Shabdayan, said, “It is highly significant that this global journey of Bangladeshi poetry begins on World Poetry Day. This initiative is a new effort to present the Bangla language and literature to the world.”
