When I was pregnant I honestly felt like it was the fastest 9 months of my life. I never once had the feeling that it was taking forever, or that I couldn't be pregnant for one minute longer. (Not to say I was never uncomfortable, I just never really felt like time was standing still) 9 months seemed to just fly by, and all too soon after finding out we were expecting, our lives were changed for the better by this little beauty.
Now, 9 months later, although I thought it impossible, time has flown even faster! Our lives are forever changing because of this sweetheart, but we are loving every fast flying minute!
We have loved the nice weather we have been having, and have been taking advantage of it when we can! Our first little adventure outside she wasn't too sure about the grass, so we had to get the blanket out. Once we had that she was content as could be!
This sweet little girl has learned a few new tricks, so we had to cage her in! She is rolling all over everywhere. You can tell by her cries that she desperately wants to crawl to get to where she is going, but just can't quite figure the whole thing out. She has starting lunging forward from seated position into crawling
position, she just can't quite figure out how to move forward. Her favorite thing to do is find your hands so she can pull up to standing. She will take a few steps if you are holding her hands. Her right leg is far more active than her left (always has been) and she takes big steps with it, and little ones with her left.
She is still silly! She does her head tilt all the time, and has now started a new silly little thing. Sometimes when she laughs she will throw her head back, and roll her eyes back into the back of her head, then close them. She thinks it is so funny!
She loves to feed herself, and does so well with all foods. We have yet to find one that she is allergic to, has a reaction too, or doesn't like. We have recently started her on a little dairy. She loved giving herself an avocado and cottage cheese facial!

If you look closely you can see what else is new this month! Two little teefers! It was quite the ordeal getting these teeth in. One Friday night we had gotten home from shopping and noticed that she was running a little temperature. So I gave her some Tylenol, she went to sleep and it didn't seem to come back that night. The next day she started getting incredibly fussy, and I noticed her fever had come back. This time it was back with a vengeance...104.8 degrees. Because it was a weekend, I paged our on call doctor to see what I should do. We were able to keep it down with medicine, so we decided that unless is spiked again we could wait til Monday. The strange thing was that she had no other symptoms of sickness, and when the fever was down she would laugh and play like all was well. Sunday morning I noticed these two little teeth had popped through! I know teething can cause a fever, but I didn't think it would be that severe, so Monday morning we went to the doctor's office. After checking her out it was decided that it must be a virus, and that it should go away in a day or two. We were supposed to go back on Wednesday if it hadn't dropped. On Tuesday her fever finally broke, and she got a nice little rash. Turns out she had Roseola! Not really sure how she got it, but we were so happy that it wasn't anything more serious. Her rash was mild and lasted a day. She was back to herself the next day; however, teething and sickness made for a pretty grumpy baby for a few days!

9 Month Stats:
17.2 lbs - 16%
27.25 inch - 32%
It's hard to believe that my life, and my little goober have changed so much in the past 18 months! Wasn't I just barely loving on my little chicken legged newborn? How is it that I am now so close to the day she crawls, says her first words, and takes her first steps?!?! I can't get enough of the little curl on her head, her little dimpled ankles, the way she plays with her two bottom teeth, her excited little spasms when she sees you get her food, the way she kicks here one leg while she's nursing or taking a bottle, her adorable little squeaks and giggles, the way she reaches for her mommy and grabs daddy's nose, the way she snorts when she laughs too hard....It is all so amazing to me, and I'm so grateful I get to be here to see all of it!
The countdown is on...3 more months and we have a 1 year old!!!
