2012

So it's another new year and I figured maybe I should blog since I haven't in like 6 months. Nothing has really changed on our end. Christmas didn't feel like Christmas without all the snow. It's crazy how nice the weather is. I don't want snow but I know it's coming. Let it snow in the mountains and not down in the valley yes? Yes! New Years flew by and we are all back to work and school now. A recap on this year would be:
-MAY
Tiffany received her Masters degree in Education.
-JUNE
Jessica and Brian traveled to New York for a family trip with his family and we got the dog for the week.
-AUGUST
Jessica and Brian celebrated one year being married
Preston turned 20.
Brittany started her Junior year of High school & also got a job.

School and work has consumed most everyone's lives as it always does. We are back into the routine of things. It's crazy that the school year is already almost half over.
Staying busy is the thing to do though, right?? (:

It's been far too long...

It's been over a year since I have posted ANYTHING on here so I think it's time I do. The past year has been a CRAZY one! Way back in August Jess and Bri got married. August 7th(: Not long after the wedding they adopted my nephew, Jack, the puppy. He's been an adventure. Bri has always been family so that wasn't much different. Jack consumes our energy. He's a cutie pie. The end of August I started High School at Hillcrest. It has been a long year. So much has happened. Jess had her birthday in March, I had my 16th in April, and Mom's was in May. The weekend of Mom's birthday was crazy. She graduated with her Master's degree as well. Her birthday was the 5th and Graduation was the 6th. To top it all off it was Mother's day that weekend. Crazy right? I vowed to not eat for a week after eating out every night that weekend. We are all so proud of her. She took classes, had a full time job, and had a family to take care of still. She's an amazing woman. June finally came and school FINALLY got out. I couldn't wait for the year to be done. I got a 4.0 every quarter but the last. Last quarter was hard, I checked out long before we were supposed to. Mom graduated with a 4.0 as well. Now Jess and Bri are away, having fun in NY and we have the dog. He's a crazy little man. I just gave him a bath and I had one as well. I love that little pup. I tell him it's bedtime and he jumps on my PILLOW. He's a silly little one. He misses his parents. He's having fun still though. I can't wait for the McDermott Reunion this weekend! It's going to be different with the days but it will still be fun. We got a trailer again for the weekend. Girlscamp was cancelled this year due to mother nature and all the snow. Curses... I wanted to go so bad. oh well. This summer will be fun anyways. We have a trip planned in July which should be fun. We are going to Stadium of Fire as well. Can't wait for that! I can't wait to see everyone!

Only 4 more days til the party starts! Can't wait to see everyone! I know I'm super excited! See y'all there. We'll eVEN be there before dark! :]

2 weeks!

There are only 2 weeks left before the reunion!! I hope everyone can make it!! We are way excited!!! Mel and Bonnie said they are coming so there are no excuses!! haha Just teasin. I can't wait to catch up with everyone!! Love you lots!

McDermott Reunion

Hey Guys!!! So I'm like way behind on blogging but I thought I would start the countdown for the reunion! If I didn't it wouldn't be the same! haha This is all for you Spencer ;) Love ya!! haha But there are as of today only 3 weeks and 5 days before we depart to Willow Flats for our annual party of the year! haha I have been counting since last Friday when it was 4 weeks. :) It is approaching fast. I can't wait to see everyone! Let's hope it starts warming up or else we will be spending most of the time around the fire telling tall tales and playing games and making up stories to tell when we arrive back to the city. We can't wait to see everyone!! This year is going to be another great one!! Love you lots and Can't wait to party it up with ya'll!!! :D
