I guess Its time for an update...

Ok well this past month has been a busy one, the day after Thanksgiving I braved the Black Friday shopping and got all my Christmas shopping done that day and had everything wrapped about two days later. Then we were planning on driving up to Utah on Christmas eve for Christmas at my families house but My mom was busy with work and was trying to figure out how to get all the shopping and decorating and cooking done before Christmas when everyone was coming on Christmas Eve and she had to work all day Christmas Eve, so I found a 10 dollar flight from here to Vegas on the 12th and flew out on the 14th. I was there for about 10 days before Chris drove up with his mom. We made Christmas cookies and bread and pie. Then on Christmas Eve Chris and Carol drove up and we had a great Christmas, Duncan had been asking for Hungry Hungry Hippos for about 3 months and so my mom had bought it for him, When it had come time to open his presents we saved that one for last. He started opening it and saying what is it what is it? Its Its Its HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPOS!!!!!!!! He was so happy that's all he talked about all night. Of course he got tons of Buzz Light year stuff also which he loved! It was so great to have my whole family there. On Christmas day we took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 and then had dinner! The next day we did family pictures in the freezing cold but they turned out great! We are so grateful for Autumns new Camera! Beckham sat and took it all in, and loved all the attention, Now I just have to ween him from wanting to be held all the time. I will add pictures later today!

Our Weekend in Santa Barbara!

This past Weekend we got to get away, My niece was blessed in Santa Barbara. We got there on Friday and had dinner at this amazing pasta place called Pastavino. They had great food! Following the great pasta we proceeded to get great Ice cream! I seriously think I gained 20 pounds this trip! Saturday morning we all went to the Santa Barbara Zoo, Not to knock on our good ol Chaffee Zoo but this Zoo was great! It had Lions and a snow Leopard, and Giant Gorillas. We had a blast and saw some great things! Then we went to dinner at Los Arroyos! Again Yummy Mexican food!. Sunday was great to see little Brinley Blessed, then get to relax with family. Brinley and Beckham are 4 days apart but if you were to look at them they look like they are months apart. Beckham is our little monstar, he is 4 pounds bigger but looks much bigger and she is a little petit thing. Her little brother Ryland couldnt say Brinley so he called her "winnie dirl" So now we all like to call her winnie. We got some great photos of her and Beckham. I cant wait for Christmas when we are all together again.

This was our stop for lunch at Burger King and Duncan turned his Crown upside down and said he was not a king but he was a knight!

Halloween

This year I was so excited so I could cordinate the boys halloween costumes! I let Duncan choose what he wanted to be then planned Beckhams costume accordingly. Duncan of course decided on Captian Hook and I made Beckham into Peter Pan. We started our night out by hitting up both sets of my grandparents houses. Took lots of pictures got special treats and then we went to our ward party and did some trick or treating there. Since Duncan was having such a great time we decided to go out to a friends neighborhood. Needless to say Duncans pale is crazy full I think he might need help eating it all! ;)

LA Galaxy

So this weekend we had the awsome opportunity to go down to LA to see the LA Galaxy play San Jose Quakes, in which we got to see David Beckham and Landon Donavan play. It was a totally surreal thing. Carol works with someone who has a niece (Jackie) who works down there so we had some crazy hook ups, We got down there and Jackie got Chris and our friend Robert and his two boys on the feild while the team was warming up. Then after watching the game Jackie got us into the Tunnel where the players go into there locker room. Well LA won and I have to say that David Beckham is not all hipe, He is truly gifted in the sport. Not only is he gifted he is such a nice guy....... Jackie asked us if we had a ball and we did so she left and came back with the ball signed by him to Beckham and said that he wanted to meet "this baby Beckham" so after the game we headed down tot the tunnel and unfortunatly because of the crowds we didnt make it down there fast enough so we missed him but his manager told us that he was really touched and wished that he could have met us and him! Totally awsome! It is an experience we will never forget!

4th Anniversary

Yesterday was Chris and my 4th anniversary, Icant believe its been 4 years! I remember when we first started dating! so in celebration of our 4 years here are some pictures of us throughout our 4 years!

Beckhams 3 month Stats!

Beckham is now 12 lbs 9 oz and is 24 inches long! He is growing so fast! He is sleeping all night, and smiles and laughs! And he especially loves his big brother!

I have been the worst blogger lately, I am still trying to get used to having less "down" time. We went to Utah and spent two weeks with my family but again I was a slacker and got no pictures, I did bring the camera so the attempt was there. We also managed to get to the fair this year, Duncan was in heaven he loved all the animals and all we have heard about since we have gone is... I rode the ponys and I want to go again! I am glad he had fun. I probably ate my weight in Food while I was there, You cant go to the fair and not get a Jumbo corn dog, so I got one and I fell in love with the Deep fried Smores! Thinking about them makes my mouth water!

Beckhams Blessing

Today we Blessed Beckham. It was beautiful, I am so grateful for a husband who is able to bless our children. My whole family was there! My parents and sisters came from Utah and Autumn and Jeremy came up from Santa Barbara. Then we all got together and had good food. The Bakers also came who are just as much my family. one month stats!

Beckham sure is one growing boy! He is 5 weeks here are the stats:

Weight: 9 pounds 8 oz

Length: 22 inches

Head Cir: 13.8 inches

He is now sleeping 6-7 hours at night and smiles and dream laughs

Has it Really been 4 Week!

Wow time sure does fly! I guess he wont really be a month old until the 16th but yesterday was 4 weeks! HE is doing very well and he must love his mommy so much cause he is sleeping 5-6 hours at night! He has another Drs apt on the 21st so we will have stats then. Here he is for his second week at church!

Another Duncan-ism

We were over at a friends house for Dinner on Sunday night and Duncan was playing with their son. THey were playing with Foam Fingers and their son yells with the finger on...
"IM #1!" "IM #1!" then Duncan come running out behind him saying, " Im #2! Im #2!" to which we had to laugh! Oh dear!

He is also such a good big brother! We had some ants outside that we were spraying and so we sat the baby down in his carseat and told duncan keep an eye on your brother ( more for the thought to keep him inside away from the poisen, We still had the door open so we can see them) We were spraying and then we heard from inside the house..
Its ok Beckham I will protect you, dont be scared Daddy and Mommy are killing the ants so they cant get us! Dont be scared!

How sweet is that! He is so cute with him, the only thing is when Beckham crys he tells me, Mommy I think he needs a flick! Oh well!

Update on Beckham

He is growing so fast I cant believe it. We had to take him to the doctor the other day because he had some gross goop coming out of his eyes, turns out he has a double eye infection poor guy! they weighed him and he is now 8 pounds 2 oz and is almost 22 inches long! He is getting chubby bubby!

We also went down to Santa Barbra to see my sister and kids! We had so much fun. We went to a really neat butterfly exhibit. There are hundreds of butterflys that will land on you or the ground and you can get so close to them. Duncan was ok as long as they didnt get to close. We also got a picture of the two new babies. They were only 4 oz apart at birth and were the same length. This will also show how big he has gotten. Beckham was 2 1/2 weeks and Brinley was 2 weeks old when we took these!

Duncan is 3!

So yesterday was my big guys birthday! I know every mom says I cant believe how fast that went by but I really and truly cant! Having Beckham 3 weeks ago has put somethings into perspective. I have been able to really remember when I had Duncan. He is such a blessing in our lives and I am so grateful to our heavenly father that he has intrusted such a sweet and caring spirit to us. He is such a funny boy and everyday I thinking how did I get so lucky!

Among the many many gifts He got was a Bike! (I cant believe he is big enough for one) and he also got a train set and lots of noisy toys! We also took him out to dinner and Chris' dads wife made this awesome thomas cake! He loved it!

A New Niece

I also got to meet my new little Niece Brinley Elizabeth! She was born 4 days after Beckham. I hope they are so close growing up! She is absolutly a doll. I have really enjoyed being pregnant with my sister, we shared everything at just about the same time too! Orignally Beckham was supposed to be a week younger than Brinley but as you now know I cant wait for anything! He came early and beat his little cousin here!

Brothers

Well today we finally got around to taking pictures of the boys. I am feeling good, I am up and moving around, I am finding it hard to deal with not being able to carry or lift Duncan but I guess that will just take some time. Duncan loves loves loves his brother. He always wants to hold him. We have only experienced one day of melt downs and Chaos. So I simply gave the baby to my mom to hold and sat and played and that seemed to do the trick! Beckham is such a joy to have he sleeps well and I think he crys only when he gets hungry and its more of a whin to let me know. He doesnt even cry when I change his diaper.
