MAY 2012

 Beginning of Summer!

 My baby girl Brandy.

WE had issues with frosting at Gunther's for a while. Oddly it only stayed firm for the chocolate cones. Justin was laughing so hard because they looked like KKK clown cones. We have to entertain ourselves somehow at Gunther's. I kind of miss working there.
Image
Love this show. It's like a slap in the face with reality. Who hasn't this happened to.
Image

Image
Brad at Gunther's would always get mad if we sold too many freezer packs so I definitely tried to upsell them  all the time. This is a picture I took of Matt that I texted to Brad.

When I was moving I found this. It was from a scene I acted out in an english class my very first year of college. I got to play a drunk from the Taming of the Shrew.
Image
Homemade pretzels. I moved out with Alicia in May out to Arden. Christina, Alicia and I made these. They were the bomb.
Image
Went to RiverCats game with the family. I think Megan and John's kids were having something at the game and got to go out on the field for something.
Image

Image
 Court made homemade Sangeria.
Image
I made it! Not as good as I was hoping it would be.
Image
Some kids at Toys R Us are scandelous. I found them like that I swear I didn't do it.
Image
Jack's Urban Eats with my girlie friends. Love that place.

APRIL 2012

Image
Image
Courtney gave me a book called "I want to be Happy, Dammit!" I love this book, it has all the life rules you could ever need to live by.

I baby sat Audrey and Emily. Those two are a handful but a lot of fun. Audrey actually let me tie her up with jump rope. For lunch we made homemade lunchables which was very interesting because it was cheezits with nutella but they ate it all and even had seconds.

Courtney and I had gotten hamsters and they were about 2 years old in this picture. I believe this is lilah, my hamster. We got them on a whim because Courtney told me she got me a present, which turned out to be a piggy bank, but I was so excited it might be hamsters.

Image
This is an oreo brownie that Patrick from Gunther's brought us. We used to eat so much junk food when I worked there.

This is a picture of a neuron from my textbook from college. I missed doing immunoflourescent in the lab.
ImageAnd last I just love the comic get fuzzy and that's what she said jokes.

Recap... I don't know where the last year went.

ImageMarch was a lot of fun but obviously I've been having nonstop fun for the last year. Carl, Sauyma and I had Imagepicnic day at that
park by CRC, they had a whale! We got Vietnamese hoagies and drinks and sat in the park and talked like we were still in high school. AHH memories. Courtney also won a radio contest toward the end of the month and we got to meet ADAM LAMBERT!!! He won American Idol back a few cycles and overall I would probably only listen to a couple of his songs if I had nothing else to listen to. We had to get up crazy early and go to the fox and goose downtown for a little breakfast the radio station put on. Adam Lambert came and did a radio interview, played a few songs from his iphone, answered some questions, we got to take a sweet picture with him then we were kicked out. I didn't even have to move my car out from the 90 minute parking spot I snagged down the street. It was pretty anticlimatic but now I can say I met him. I guess, sort of.

ImageNow for February. VALENTINES DAY! Not much else happened during that month anyways right? I had a Valentines and I'll leave it at that. I'm back to being a lone wolf so why bring that up. But here is a pic of me and my bestest lady friends celebrating the day of love. Apparently I didn't get the memo that we were all wearing black and like Alicia says Valentines Day is kinda like a funeral.

Hmmm January was kinda lame and depressing but Carl and I started hanging out again around then and we started having ourImage starbucks coffee rendez vous.

Now this brings us to December.

Who doesn't love Christmas parties? This was at the Gunther's Party at Alicia's place. On the left is Alicia, Chelsea and I and below is

Amanda and me. I'll leave it at we had a lot of fun and I pretty much have the best coworkers in the whole entire world.

ImageMoving to November I made a surprise trip to Washington DC to go to the Soc
iety forNeuroscience Conference. The lab I worked in back in Long Beach had a couple posters
Imagethere and it was a
ton of fun to go see all my lab buddies presenting their
research for the world to see. I got to see a lot of national monuments and learned how to ride the Metro, which was gross and awesome all at the same time. One night while walking around we kind of ran into an occupy wallstreet march. Nate filmed the whole thing so maybe I'll eventually put it on here for memory. I stayed with my fellow BYU-Idaho students while we
were there. The first night we got there my awesome Jenny Davis came up to DC to show my friends and me around and took us to dinner. I can't remember what the place was called for the life of me but they had toastedmarshmallow shakes. But that is a picture of Lindsey, Me, Virgil and Devon at the Whitehouse. Also November being Turkey

month, shout out to the family. This is Courtney, Natasha and I along with Charlie at Thanksgiving dinner.

When I moved back up to Sac after my internship in Long Beach I went back to working at Gunther's. They have been pretty good
Image to me; actually asking me to come back and all. They decorate, and by decorate I mean they go all out. This is Christina, Me, Matt, Amanda and Nolan at Halloween. I'm going to miss everyone when I eventually move on.

October was a fun month though.

Image
Courtney, mom, dad, Maddy, Bella and I all took a picnic
up to Apple Hill to buy apples.
Image
We made a new friend Sam Larsen while we were eating at the Larsen farm. As well as having awesome apple farms to go visit Apple Hill by far has the best apple fritters I have eaten. Anywhere. Period.

Image
ImageSo last time I posted I had just moved down to Huntington Beach. It was so awesome
living there loved it. I even got to visit with some of my college

came and visited and we went to Ruby's down in Huntington down on main street.
friends. Natalie and a bunch of peoples
Image
Chantelle flew down to visit and we went to chicken and waffles at Roscoe's in Long Beach and made my only trip into LA while I was down
there.

I did make an excursion down to San Diego to visit Natalie as well. Gotta have a car shot sometime. We went to Mormon Batallion and and walked to old town.

There's a view from everywhere here

Thank goodness for Starbucks and their free wi-fi. So just moving to Huntington and not having internet or friends I haven't had much to do. I have watched a rather few more movies that usual but not really. For the past two days though I have hung out at Starbucks and enjoyed the free internet. (I have to download some journals about what I'm going to be doing research on so I don't look like a total idiot when I go in on Monday) There are two Starbucks within a mile of my grandma's place so I've tested them out and I do have to say the one south toward Sunset Beach is the better of the two, you can see the ocean between buildings (and the workers are much easier on the eyes) but the one in Seal is in a strip mall (with a jamba juice next door so I may start going there cause I could get internet from there and I do love my smoothies) so I'll be hitting Best Buy after this.

Not many people though can say that they have awesome Grandma's that lets them stay in their beach condo. I get to enjoy this every morning, noon and night... well until I start my job at Cal State Long Beach. Thanks Grandma!

Spring Break... I guess.

As a graduation present to myself I bought myself a plane ticket to Seattle to visit my BRE (Best Roommate Ever) Amie. I spent 5 days there sight seeing and just hanging out having a good time, she took me to all the cool places Seattle had to offer. The gum wall on Post Alley was probably my favorite thing to see. I even added my gum to the wall. I strung mine out on that window ledge to the right in the picture under Shakespear. Some other tourists thought I was playing with some of the gum already there and had to explain I just put it there cause it made me look gross.

ImageThis is where the gum wall is. You don't have to walk up the HUMUNGUS staircase that over looks it, thank goodness we only walked down it. Amie couldn't remember where it was and thank goodness I was too lazy to walk up the staircase or we may never have found the gum wall.
ImageSpace Needle! This was really cool to see but we were too cheap to pay to go to the top. 18 bucks to go up?! I was good with the view from the ground.

ImageThe Freemont Troll. We got some people who were doing some crazy stunts to take a simple picture of us. This was in Ten Things I Hate about you but apparently in the movie they dressed it up and threw some ivey on it.

ImageImage

At Pike's Place Market Amie and I got matching shirts for our concert we went to Monday night. We saw Hey Monday!, Yellowcard, The Summer Set and All Time Low. If I had to rank them it would would go 1. Yellowcard 2. HeyMonday 3. Summer Set and 4 All Time Low. It was awesome!

For graduation my mom and Courtney got me a beach survival kit, which came with a summer fling, one less thing to worry about. We made it official and got married in Vegas.

Image
ImageThis is was Willie the awesome pink elephant in front of the hotel we stayed at in Vegas.

ImageI wanted proof that we actually went to Vegas since I had never been there before. Sadly this is the best picture we got, apparently we aren't too photogenic.
