I tried to choose my favorites from non-spoilery ones but it didn’t work out too well ^^;
Ayakashi Gohan unboxing/non-spoilery thoughts + Ken ga Kimi artbook
Ayakashi Gohan, one of the games that I’d really been looking forward to is out and I’m happy to say I was able to get it earlier this week and finish it already XD
Not dead! Hana Awase, Jooubachi and other randomness
Okay so I haven’t updated in ages… I actually have been playing a ton of games, just haven’t really kept up with updating the blog though, shame on me! I know I should finish my KgK review, but I wrote a ton of stuff and… it got wiped when my laptop crashed because I didn’t save 😐 As for Sanzen Sekai Yuugi… That game was just disappointing in so many ways to me >_<;;; WTF was with Rikou’s route and all the retconning and weird reason for killing the parents… Also only one short pr0n scene per route, not enough for a perv like me I’m afraid! I refuse to think about that game anymore lol. Some spoilers for Jooubachi below~
Sanzen Sekai Yuugi arrived!
Oh god, I’m still working on my Ken ga Kimi review and now I’ve been playing this since I got it on Monday so I fear the review will be delayed a little LOL.
Ken ga Kimi – common route + Kuroba Saneaki
Rejet’s newest otome game, Ken ga Kimi is awesome. It’s obvious that a lot of effort went into the game- it has a beautiful soundtrack, art, gorgeous characters and an interesting setting. The only drawbacks I will mention are that the common route is extremely long and may be a bit boring for some and that the story is pretty simple (which may not be a bad thing for everyone!).
Genre: Historical fantasy
Plotline: Kayo, the young daughter of a teahouse owner is the splitting image of Hisahime, a princess who is due to be married. She is requested to take Hisahime’s place and make the arduous journey from Edo Tokaido under the watchful vigil of six bodyguards- Tsuzuramaru, Kei, Kuroba Saneaki, Enishi, Sagihara Sakyo, and Suzukake.
There is also an imperial sword tournament that is held with the winner possibly receiving one of the five Heavenly Swords which has the power to seal youkai as well as a boon from Tokugawa Iemitsu. Once the bridal procession is complete, chance encounters cause Kayo and her destined one to meet again. Will he choose the path of the sword or the path of love with Kayo?
Ken ga Kimi
I have yet to finish this game but I have completed four characters (Kei, Kuroba, Enishi, Sakyou) so far so I will write a little bit about my impressions of this game and later on I’ll write a full review.
