church
sunday we went to church late. later than normal. we met a nice man in the parking lot. he was tall. he said hello and i showed him my thomas train. with a big smile he said: “i can see where your interests are.” i didn’t know him but my parents seemed to know who he was. i can’t remember his name. something like “l-dar perry”…not sure.
there were a lot of people at church and we had to sit on the hard chairs on the back. i think there was someone important there. people kept talking about an "apostle." everyone stood up when that nice man from the parking lot walked in. the meeting was long. i was good though and didn’t get crayon on dad’s shirt like last week. for some reason, mom and dad took me home without letting me go to nurshry. bummer!
we passed donald’s on the way home. mom said maybe next time. she keeps saying that.

train museum

We just went to a train museum. I’m not sure when because I am only two and don’t have a good grasp of time other than to say it was in the past. I got to drive a model train though. The nice old man showed me how but would only let me drive it forwardbecause it kept falling off the track when it went backwards. The train was neat but they wouldn’t let me drive the school bus. Bummer.

We got to walk inside some old trains that smelled old like grandpa’s cabin. I even got to sit in the conductor’s chair. Dad got mad when I wouldn’t stop standing up in the chair. Mom got mad at dad for getting mad at me. Those two are crazy some times. My favorite part was the toy train sets they had set up. There were a couple of other kids my age playing with the train sets. All of their parents just sat there and looked tired. Like mom and dad.

On the way home we didn’t get to stop at donald’s (McDonald’s). Mom said maybe next time. She keeps saying that.

at the zoo
today we went to the zoo. i liked it because i got to see big animals. dad said he liked it because it was free. mom and dad wouldn't let me get a plastic animal. bummer. i did get to ride on a couple of rides though. that was fun. i rode in a magic carpet, a car, and a firetruck.

where are we?
i think we moved recently. i have no idea where we are other than the fact that they put a bunch of clothes in aunt lindsay’s car one morning and we drove for three days and now I can’t see the mountains. we drove a long way and even got to stay in a hotel. one hotel had a buf-fa-low in the lobby. he stood really still.
dad also let me drive the truck in front of the hotel. unfortunately i couldn't figure out how to get it started. bummer. there were no doors though like grandpa's jeep, so that was cool.
