When tyrants cannot deliver hope, they turn to fear and motivate the masses with hatred.
It is one thing to hold principles in high esteem; it is quite another to embrace them more strongly as they seem to deprive you of all else that would seem to matter.
Truth can be forgotten, it can be molested, or it can be swallowed up in an ocean of lies. When you know the truth, embrace it and hold to it. It is life.
Visages marred by memes, scourged with slanders, and pierced through with falsehoods hung in the public domain of cyberspace to be mocked and jeered by the lunatic masses as corporate Pharisees and political Saducees cry out incessantly, “Away with them. Away with them.” Modern crucifixions may appear less gruesome, but they are no less cruel in heart with hatred that excels. The images of good men disfigured are left hanging indefinitely.
