Shhhhhh..........

Don't tell. Last night Cory and I went to the Military Ball for the ROTC program where he was President of the mess. Of course I couldn't wear the same dress. I had to find a new one so after tons of prayers on a Saturday morning I found this one that fit me perfect, was easily turned into being modest, and it was $6. Yep I found it at the DI. I was sooo blessed. Now all I have to do is get rid of those Evan's arms.

The material closeup. It also has a sheer thing that goes around the neck of the dress and shoulders and then hangs loose in the back.

Michael's 1st time marching in band. I hated that when I was younger but then I had to wear those retarded feathered hats but at least I got to hide underneath them. Michael has a really cool band teacher. He is Mr. Heber White and he know how to play every instrument really well like all the band teachers did when I was in band, unlike Michael's Intermediate School band teacher. He was awful. I hope Michael continues in band but I think he is done after this year. It was fun while it lasted! I do have 1 question though. Why was band so popular then and so uncool now. Everyone was int the band in HS and MS when I was there. Yes I know it is a lot farther than I would like to think but still- such an awesome program with so many benefits. Yep I went to band camp- so fun. I ate it up.

I tried to upload another video where Michael was right in front of us but it must have been too big.

Go to www.myframedphotography.blogspot.com and scroll to where she has the "S" family. The pics turned out so cute. This one is so precious if only Steve would have been in focus.

Jax's Sox and Loosing Teeth

We have missed our Coates' family friends. Christian esspecially. We found these miss-matched socks that someone left at our house. Christian and I decided that they were Jaxon's. He wears then to school (Kellee I owe you new ones) whenever they are clean. He says they bring him luck and whenever he wears them Jaxon is with him too. Here are some pics. ImageImage

Also Christian had a loose tooth for about a week. He refused to pull it out and let us get it out. One night I just happened to talk him into it. I pulled so hard that the tooth went flying. I felt bad that I was yanking that hard but it came out and after about 20 minutes of frantically searching so the tooth fairy would come we found the tooth. These are pics of Christian's 1st lost tooth. Image

TOFW

Image
Alot of you have seen my many hundred emails about TOFW. Time out for women is a conference with distinguished speakers and musical artist. I had the privledge of attending this years "Sweet Assurance" TOFW event in St. George. What an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to listen to Hilary Weeks, my new favorite artist, and Kenneth Cope. We were taught some life lessons by Chieko Okazaki, Carolyn Rasmus, Emily Watts, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Jill Manning and Emily Freeman. What an amazing experience. Words can not describe. I had so many wonderful moments of Ah ha! I also had the opportunity to serve on the Staff where I helped special needs sisters. A gal named Cindy from St. George also did this with me. My mom and Aunt Rama also were able to attend. We 3 had so much fun. I benefited from the life stories of these women and how the Savior played a direct role in their lives. They challenged us to come up with 3 things that "we know". I would like to share those with you.

I know........
that my Heavenly Father loves me. I see his hand in my life every corner we turn.

I know......
that I was placed in my family for a reason because I can not imagine my "Heaven on Earth" being anywhere else.

I know.....
that families can be together forever. This I consider one of my greatest blessing to "know". I can not imagine a greater love than I have for my husband and three children.

If you attended TOFW please share your "I knows" with me. I would love to see what you know! If you didn't attend TOFW, plan with us to attend the Las Vegas event of the 2010 tour "Infinite Hope". This will be held in October and you can buy tickets now at a group rate. Hope to see you there.
