These boys caught the fishing bug! It all started Memorial day weekend with a stick, a tab from a pop can, and some fishing line found in the garage. By this trip, they had upgraded to real fishing poles. Mr. C even helped them out with some bait and hooks and wahla...they caught some fish!

They even caught the girls interest...well, not in fishing...but the fish were sure cute!!

Lake house fun

I've written about this spot a few times. It never fails to give a great background to childhood memories. I love to hear my children reminisce about last year...and then hate to leave because "it was so fun!" Each year they look forward to their beloved secret spots. I love to watch the foggy mornings clear into bright blue skies. I love to hear the voices echoing across the lake. I love to have such a beautiful place to enjoy with my family. We are ever so thankful to our grandparents for their generous gift in allowing us to "hang out at the lake".

Where are we??

I think mother nature forgot that we normally get rain!!
This is what we woke up to Monday morning....another 4 inches of snow and it is still snowing. Definitely a white Christmas!
