Is this the end of the Grot tank production line?
I hope so.
The trouble is, I keep tweaking the design and then think of more changes I could make, so I keep printing the little darlings out.
One of the latest was to add machinegun sponsons to the hull sides, which I really like.
Two other Grot tanks have flamers, which I wanted to make so I can now field six tanks with flamers and six tanks with cannon.
Be afraid of the horde!
In the meantime, hopefully this is the end…
After far too much time editing and making these Jetkopters, they are finished and based on some simple flight stands.
They turned out rather nice and if they are any good in an actual game, I could be persuaded to make three more.
I really could not tell you how many bits from different models were resized, edited, squished and merged to make all the gubbins that got stuck on the Armiger body.
Apart from the central body, they are all different.
I wonder if I could make something Orky from an Imperial Questoris Knight body?
Two more to add to the one painted for One Page Rules Grimdark Future Firefight.
That will make three then.
Currently still producing more Grot tanks to reorganise the units.

I did not have any instructions for the Stompa weapon arms and there were a lots of bits to worry about. Luckily, one of my older PC’s had the 3D Builder software which arranges STL components together automatically.
That made the task so much easier and the ranged and melee arms went together without too much pain.
Apricat likes it as well.

Painting the file-bashed Jetbikes and even more Grot Tanks.
The Jetbikes are very fiddly, I may have stuck too many exhausts and gubbins all over the hull so they are proving a challenge to paint, especially with the sponge layer.
Apart from printing and building loads of stuff, I have actually managed to paint a few additions for the Ork army.
These three Ork Halftracks will provide some nice fast moving heavy support.
Two are armed with Lascannon’s and one is armed with what looks like a Hopsplat Field Gun.
I was working out my Ork army list and for some reason decided I need three more Grot tanks. Because everyone knows that more is better.
By making two more ball tanks, I can now field a unit of three ball tanks with flamers.
One more walking tanks also makes up a three walking tank unit.
No more!
The week ahead looks like good undercoating weather, so I have been busy getting as many builds as possible completed and ready for rattle cans.
Before I glue the two halves of the Gorkanaut together, I have added some magnets to the inside botton edge for more dakka and flamers. Just in case…
A loft full of lead
