So I had this grand idea that going up to the mountains to cut down our own Christmas tree this year would be a fun adventure with the family. Even though it ended up taking the whole day, and unfortunately we witnessed a bad motorcycle accident which delayed us a bit, we still had a great time. As a bonus, we were surprised to see snow up on top of The Rim, and the kids thought that was just awesome. Our tree is more like a "Charlie Brown" tree, but it's got character and some fun family memories.
