Well I guess it's time to get caught up on all the great excitement that's been going on in the Foote Family's life. (That I can remember anyway...) I had varicose vein surgery 6 months ago which left me bed ridden and home bound so I re-watched everything we own on iTunes and most of the movies we own. I learned the art of paper folding other wise known as Origami and How to make dogs out of pipe cleaners. But the number one thing I learned was how to drive my husband crazy
"Not really a new talent but she did step up her game a level that will one day be sung about by minstrels". Needless to stay we are both glad that I'm up and walking around after all that
"That's the biggest understatement since i said 'No problem, i can fix that' and bought a Japanese boat". Then when that was all over we found out that the screw in my right knee from a truck ancient years ago has broken off and needs to be removed. I say later! "
Actually it was a really broken military health care system that made us wait".
Kelly got out of the Marine Corp after 9 years of service, It was a huge decision to make but we both felt good about the choice.
"It was not that hard after what they tried to pull on me in the last year". He just got accepted into "The Landing School" in Arundel, Maine, which we are both super excited for
"Excited yes, but remember the comment about the boat earlier... the landing school is the countries leading institution for boat students of boat construction". It's another new adventure in our life, another area of the world we've never been and Kelly's been doing a lot of boat building and this school is one of the best. Then after boat school we're looking to head to Boston so he can finish the language degree he's been looking forward too,
"stupid deployments and plan derailment" It's a little of a detour for language school but it's the best thing for us.
We're currently living in the basement of Kat and Jason home on a camping mattress with our two dogs and getting really antsy to leave for Maine. There's been a lot of adjusting every one's had to do but we've made the best out of it all. We're getting our TMO tomorrow and then get ready to have a yard sale. We have a lot of stuff that we really don't need especially since the movers packed up stuff that was going to the thrift store or that was trash. I just hope the "TRASH" doesn't smell to bad, since it's been in storage for almost 6 months. That's defiantly the box Kelly gets to open.
"Go figure" LOL
We'll to keep me busy I found a lot of crafts on Pinterest.
"Brace yourself, this is gonna get rough" I love that site! I just wish I had my own place to do more with but until then I have family
"and unlimited amount of time to perfect her skills of making me crazy". I put up this planter tower in front of my mom's and another one at Kelly Mom's home
"After dragging me to store after store asking me for my expertise in things i have never heard of before". I've made "Sandpaper" iron t-shirt with the kids in Idaho Falls, I did the "melt crayon art" and the latest was a "2 liter bottle sprinkler" for the kids
"And a crown and pink shirt for my birthday with a completely awesome slogan". I tried to make a case for my tablet which I haven't mastered yet but I haven't given up on either "
Which is one thing i wish she would finish before breaking her tablet/Phone for the 3rd time". I just took a long break before I break something
"Not a great thing". I'm currently working on a Lego wallet and helping Kat put together a tent for her kids
"Another problem that requires my expertise, even though its ignored when given". (I'll post pictures later of all the pinterest crafts.) Kelly's been working on a drift boat and getting caught up on relaxation with some books his family's been reading
"When i am not being distracted and hounded for help in projects i have never seen before".
We've made trips to Salt Lake for Kelly's doctor appointment, trips to Inkom to see my family, done some scenic driving of course with cameras, taken a white water rafting trip, we went shooting in the mountains one day and the latest to come is some family reunions. It's just crazy how much we've done in such a small amount of time. But I'm ready to head to our new adventures in Maine
"I got nothing"
